EXCLUSIVE: New Texts Reveal Steele Anxious Over Comey

NO - it was part of the Constitution as ratified in the late 1780's and there is much argument about it today. Its not mutually agreed upon since even candidates who hate it cannot do anything about it.

~~~~~~
Surely the most aspects of the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights have been argued from the day they were written and ratified. That is why there have been Amendments to both. Even today there is discussion about the First and Second Amendments by 'Progressive Socialist Marxist Democrats'.
Every Investigator Now Has Protection; Every Investigator’s Security Clearance is at Risk; Every Juror is in Danger, Names still Sealed;
Every Part of Our Democratic Republic is in Peril; We now have the Gravest Danger to our National Security We’ve Ever Had;
We Need a Sen. John McCain Speech to the Nation, as we know President Eisenhower would want.
Have you just awoken from a two year coma?
~~~~~~
No I haven't been asleep about the facts and my statement. I've been claiming that the "Dossier" created by Steele was created by Fusion GPS and funded by Hillary and her campaign through Perkins-Coie for quite some time. In fact I was banned from PF for just that after more than 8 years on that site. In less than wo months more than 50 of my posts were moved to the "Conspiracy Theories and I was accused of almost every rule they claim.

At this point, it is very clear that Russia interfered in our election to help Trump get elected after his public invitation to them and the Trump campaign worked with the Russians in this effort and the resulting wikileaks material was used over 160 times by Trump to help him win.

The very nature of the EC is elitists and Federalist 68 clearly identifies them as very special people with special abilities and special powers.

You cheap shot insults at me do not change that.

The Weight of Our Nation should NOT Be on the Shoulders of 12 Americans, especially over this LONG Weekend.

#45 has already illegally tampered with this Jury today. America is Not Ending Well.

This is exactly why this whole entire thing is one huge corrupted mess.
This all goes back to the obama administration and their reasoning for not
looking into Russian interference.

While they didn't admit it they knew there was a good chance clinton would lose the white house.
I bet they also knew after doing digging that she was engaging into some questions election issues IE the same ones they are accusing trump of.

that is why it was stopped.

From the stack of Ohr's text messages and personal notes with Steele that have been declassified, there's still a lot still classified. But in this batch there were 3 times Steele contacted Ohr and was concerned.

1. Anxious over the firing of Comey and feared they would be exposed.

2. Anxious over all the questions/inquiries Grassley was sending to Rosenstein over Steele.

3. Anxious over the firing of Sally Yates and wanted to make sure Ohr was still in place and if he was removed Steele was wanting assurance that Ohr will set him up with another person already briefed to be his backdoor currier to the FBI.

Now Ohr worked under Sally Yates. Was she part of those Steele referred to as being briefed? Inquiring minds want to know. Will Ohr face his demise as someone alone who went rogue or will he sing like a little birdie telling who all knew what was going on! My guess is right now he is squealing like a pig.

OK well, as a Canuck, I admittedly don't really understand what this Electoral Collage is.
However, I do understand that its a mutually agreed upon part of your election process. As such, I'm quite sure it is not some sort of partisan conspiracy to keep one party or the other out of the Whitehouse. Thus I don't feel I'm making "cheap shot insults". If you're whining...you're whining. Own it.

So in the beginning there was a push for a popular vote.
There was a huge argument over the popular vote as the huge cities in the north had way more people living in them than in the south.
The southern states were worried that people running for office would ignore them in exchange for the large votes in the north.

IE if i have 10m people living in the north and only 2m people living in the south. where do you think i am going to spend the bulk of my time.

there was also the argument that not all people would be informed of what was going on. So a compromise was made.
instead of a national popular vote there would the the electoral college.

The electoral college was based on the number of reps each state would get based on population size + 2 senators that represents each state.

In order to win the president would need to garner the majority of electoral votes. to do that he would have to have national appeal vs only pandering to
large urban centers.

the other reason for the electoral college is that every state has a say in who will win the president not just large population centers.
it is up to the state though how the electorals are distributed.

They can award them in anyway shape or form.
Most states choose the all or nothing method.
only a few states do a distributed method.

There has a been a push by states to distribute them based on the popular vote winner, but there are not enough states signed on.
this is a bad idea as you give up your states votes to other states.

that is just bad in my opinion.

can you see the outrage of states like CA or NY if a conservative wins the popular vote and they get all of their electoral votes as well?
even though the people there might have voted 55-60% for the other candidate?

You and haymarket suddenly support the Constitution; how novel! :lol:

I'd be surprised if you even knew what the Constitution is. :roll:

You do know that the “bill of rights” are the first ten amendments added to the Constitution when it was ratified in 1787 don’t you?

What testimony was that where he denied the trip? In fact, he spoke about the trip in his Congressional testimony. You seem to have some fake news, there.

You are referring the the unverified McClatchy report from "unnamed sources" I take it?

So... as, in the end, through your bluster, what you are saying is that .... some places and people have been verified? ... and others haven't but you want to believe they have...

Man, that is even less than I gave the claim credit for in my joke!

Afraid the joke is on you. Carter made a false statement in his testimony before Congress that he had not met with any Russian officials during his visits to Russia. He couldn’t very well deny that he had traveled to Russia as that could be easily verified. Even Carter not that stupid.

And what do have to rebut McClatchley’s sources? Mr Cohen’s denial? Not exactly a fountain of truth, is he? My statement that the main premise of the dossier that there was a massive Russian intelligence operation in place during the 2016 election. The purpose of which wa to help Trump and harm Hillary has been verified still stands. As does my statement that no part of dossier has disproved.

~~~~~~
Delegates to the Philadelphia Convention on September 12, 1787 debated whether to include a Bill of Rights in the body of the U.S. Constitution, and an agreement to create the Bill of Rights helped to secure ratification of the Constitution itself. Twelve amendments were submitted for ratification. Only ten were ratified in the two-thirds vote of the Congress in 1791.
That's the point. The bill of rights is integrated into the Constitution as Amendments. See? You're already learning stuff.
I see. So it's in your constitution.
That leaves whining I'm afraid.
I also see...whining.
You being afraid does not explain why your post makes no sense.
Or, perhaps on second thought, it does exactly explain it.
He has the audacity to call someone a right wing hack and then for evidence posts a media matters article LMAO.
the irony here is 100% missed.
Yea if this turns out to be true and correct then well there should be some people arrested.
again i have to ask where is mueller in all of this?
we know for a fact that steele was using russian agents to gather his information.
he was paid to do it by the clinton and the DNC. this is now evident.
so where the hell is mueller at in russian meddling in the election when we have a clear amount of evidence
that the clinton and DNC used russian agents to try and gain information on trump.
again this is why this whole thing is a shame.
failing to read his own articles is well not surprising.
"where is mueller in all of this?"
Some are saying that Mueller is the one that's covering / cleaning the mess up.
"so where the hell is mueller at in russian meddling in the election when we have a clear amount of evidence
that the clinton and DNC used russian agents to try and gain information on trump."
Some are saying that this is exactly what Mueller's investigation is trying to thwart from coming out, yet, in spite of his efforts, it still is.
It may be. It may not be. We'll have to see further on as this unfolds.
1. Much of the dossier has been verified.
2. Sara Carter is a right-wing hack.
The Trump Dossier: What We Know and Who Paid for It …
Oct 25, 2017 · How much of the dossier has been substantiated? There has been NO public corroboration of the salacious allegations against Mr. Trump, nor of the specific claims about coordination between his associates and the Russians. In fact, some of those claims have been challenged with supporting evidence. For instance, Mr. …
Far from refuting their protestations, Steele’s reaction has been to say his reports were “raw” and “unverified.” In truth, the dossier was never meant to see the light of day. He is not claiming that its allegations are true; rather, they were passed along to him by sources of varying levels of reliability. It is Simpson who vouches ...
It makes perfect sense.
The electoral collage is what it is, and always has been.
The rules are the same as they've always been.
If 1 party has mastered that better than the other one, who's fault is that?
The Democrats can either do something about the situation...
or they can whine about it.
It is NOT a matter of mastering the rules but the unfairness of the rules and their violation of basic American principles and their ability to render a legal president as illegitimate.
I'd be surprised if you even knew what the Constitution is. :roll:
I know it wasn't written and ratified by douchebag liberals. Probably why they hate it so much.
So you're saying the election rules of the US are a violation of American principals.
Interesting. So nobody ever taught you to lose with grace I guess.
Do yourself a favor, don't partake in sports, and please do teach this sore loser attitude to any kids.
Originally, when they were written and adopted and sold to the American people, they were not. As American developed and changed, yes, they became a violation of American principals especially when considering the words of Lincoln that we are a government of the people, by the people and for the people.
Since you brought up sports - let us entertain your comparison.
Imagine if the following scenario were the way sports operated.
Dad takes Junior to a basketball game and its the kids first actual live game. They live in Michigan and are watching the Pistons.
Here is the scoring for each quarter.
1st quarter: Lakers 24 - Pistons 23
2nd quarter Lakers 25 - Detroit 24
3rd quarter Lakers 31 - Detroit 29
4th quarter Pistons 36 - Lakers 21
Final score Pistons 112 - Lakers 101
As they leave the arena Junior is beaming from ear to ear since the home team won. Dad is not so happy nor are most of the exiting Detroit fans.
Junior: That was a great game Dad. I am glad Detroit won.
Dad: Well they did outscore the Lakers son, but we lost the game.
Junior: No Dad - we won 112 to 101. We scored the most points.
Dad: Well son, the league changed the rules to make sure every quarter was hard fought. They put in a system where the winner of each quarter gets one point and the one who scores the most points in the game gets an additional point. Since Los Angeles won three quarters they earned three points and Detroit who won only one quarter and the most points in the game got only two points. So the Lakers win three points to two.
Son: Thats stupid. Every kid knows that when you get the most points you win. Adults are really dumb.
Dad: Well son, did I ever tell you about the Electoral College?
I've emboldened the relative bit here.
Yes...adults do tend to be "really dumb".
They take a simple concept, and twist it around in their big brains, and spit out nonsense.
Happens every day.
But that's not the point really. The point is, the rules are what they are. If you think the rules are stupid, change the rules or don't play.
But if you start a game, knowing the rules, and lose...try to lose with grace. With dignity.
Do you know of anybody who has said that Trump did not win according to the rules?
