Trump Supporter Claims Social Distortion Lead Singer Mike Ness Beat Him Up Over Politics

Social D rulez. Was at a concert of theirs in the 90's. :rock

Let me get this straight. You're not denying that Mike might have beaten the guy, but that he would have done it over politics. What would have been a "good reason" to beat someone up?

Self-defense or consensual melees are both good reasons. I don't know if either is what happened here, however.

That's some bad, bad luck.

Buh boom tish

So, since you've known him for so long, why does he take his guitar off, get off stage and start pummeling the guy? He must have had a "good" reason for it apparently...

As I said in post 9, I was being facetious. There's mostly never a good reason to pummel someone. He's always liked to fight though. He's missing part of his ear from having it chewed off in one.

Does this sort of thing happen a lot at concerts? Understand that I'm a baby boomer. In my day the biggest hazard at concerts was getting too wasted from marijuana to stand up.

The Rolling Stones many years ago did a concert using members of Hell's Angels for security. When people attempted to jump on the stage, security killed two of them.

True, but that was hardly typical. The Stones never made that mistake again.
