I understand what you're saying, but I see two people who are saying they will "withhold judgement", and one saying the same thing, but also saying he took the same approach with the allegations against Republicans. Not sure this is a representation of the Left, man, as we've discussed in the past.

I'll admit that I jumped on the Moore bandwagon pretty quickly, that was entirely due to my prejudice, I own that, and I've tried to simmer down since. Now I can only act in good conscience if I hold back the knee jerk and apply the same approach: Believe the victim enough to have the investigation, and act appropriately with the results in hand, no matter what "side" the guy is on. I think if anyone wants to have any credibility in these conversations, that must be their consistent approach.

Roy Moore is still guilty, even after one accuser admitted she was paid and another admitted that she faked the yearbook inscriptiin.

Oh...lol...well, now that we have that sorted out... Honestly, I was hoping for a bit more of a list. I'm Canadian, and I really want to beat my wife, but we have no Democrat party up here. Ah well, the search for loopholes in decency continues.... *sigh*…

With Trump the ***** grabbing audio came out right away, and nobody denies the porn star payoff.

With Weinstein there were multiple allegations. A lot of them. Why do you care about some "liberal Hollywood" guy anyway?

I have no reason to doubt it. I met Ellison once and the guy is a grade A bag of dicks. But innocent until proven guilty (or does that only apply to Republicans?)

Karen Monahan, a former girlfriend of Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison (D) who has accused the congressman of domestic abuse, told ThinkProgress Monday that she did not plan on going public about the texts and the video that allegedly shows Ellison abusing her.

“I didn’t want to mention the video or the texts,” she said. “I’m not here to prove to anyone. I’m just here to share my story.”

The claims of abuse were first made public by Monahan’s son, Austin Aslim Monahan, in a Facebook post Saturday evening, in which he claimed that he saw a video on his mother’s computer in 2017 that showed Ellison abusing his mother while yelling obscenities.

Don't worry. If someone on the right is accused they are to be tarred and feathered and destroyed on mere accusations alone, with no proof. It is the progressive way - unless you are a progressive. Ellison will survive just fine.

I guess his winning the primary showed some sort of support for Ellison, despite the allegation of abusing the woman and being exposed by her son with video evidence and recorded 911 call..

The post to which I relied stated that voting Democrat was justification for beating your wife. So it's a valid question.
