[h=1]These 6 Republicans are connected to the insider trading scandal that just exploded on a Trump-loving congressman[/h]
Rep. Chris Collins (R-NY) was arrested for insider trading. Collins allegedly shared non-public information about Innate Immunotherapeutics, an Australian drug company developing a drug to treat multiple sclerosis. ...
At least six Republicans appear to have been convinced by Collins’ pitch (though at various times they claimed to have arrived at the stock purchase through media reports).

Trump-lovin’ Rep. Chris Collins (R-NY) arrested for insider trading. Here are people connected to the scandal:

  • Tom Price
  • Rep. John Culberson (R-TX)
  • Rep. Mike Conaway (R-TX)
  • Rep. Doug Lamborn (R-CO)
  • Rep. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK)
  • Rep. Billy Long (R-MO)

I am trying to figure if these people had something in common. So far, I can't see any similarities.

I think we would find many MANY Congressmen guilty of insider trading.

They should be kicked out, the lot, regardless of party affiliation.

I heard a report shortly after the Collins story broke, that there were other critters involved. I see what you are highlighting here, this is ONE issue that is truly bi-partisan.

BTW; your title is a giveaway.......:2razz:

If we really started digging, we'd find mounds of dirt on lots of Congresscritters from both sides of the aisle.

And, we should.

They would never allow that. These sorts of investigations and such are usually just political kabuki theater. Neither side really wants to open the can of worms that would be Congressional Accountability. Both sides know they are both so horribly guilty of something, that if this can ever did for real get opened; they'd all be f'd.

DP rules say that one must use the exact title.

While corruption is bi-partisan, this case is uni-partisan.

I will go out on a limb and bet you a dollar to a donut that, if this cases expands, there will be some (D’s) caught in the net. Congress will try to close ranks on this and keep the damage to a minimum.

I'll take 'R' for $1,000 Alex ...........

Being no fan of Republicans, I'm glad they got implicated. But I believe the Dems, even if not involved in this specific incident, are guilty as hell too. (in general)

Agreed. How many times has it been posted here how much every congressman's wealth grows while in office. It's all horse****.

Yep, Congress did the same thing on the "payouts" for harassment claims. Hide it from public scrutiny, then hope they move on to the next bright shiny object tossed their way to distract them.

I suspect you are right - which is why we as citizens must demand that a full and complete investigation be held and all brought to justice.
