Reports: Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s Personal Driver For 20 Years Was A Chinese Spy

We do, but the brightest among us are smart enough not to get involved. "Keep your head down, your mouth shut, pay the king and make money"

And why would they with the way we abuse those who step forwards to help?

If you ever read Russian history you would see why they are all bat **** crazy. Then add drugs and alcohol. Maybe we should be thankful Putin is rumored to be pretty light on chemical indulgence.

Hmmm, food for thought there ;)
Pity he's not light on grudges against the West.

The Left have a long history of being sympathetic to Leftist despots... and are therefore easy marks.

They even nailed that FDR dude, who had a buddy he trusted called Uncle Joe (Stalin) and that spy who loved him... who close to FDR... Alger Hiss.

Mariia Butina is going to be the Republicans Alger Hiss.

wishful thinking for the TDS crowd that's still apoplectic over the NRA keeping the Clinton Crime Family out of office

Anyone who honestly thinks that Diane Feinstein is some kind of raging Marxist needs to really stop talking while the adults in the room are trying to have an intelligent conversation.

She's not even particuarly Left or Liberal for the Democratic Party.

Dodging a bullet by stepping on a landmine isn't much of a victory. Clinton understood that you can shear a sheep four times a year but you can only skin him once. Trump doesn't even seem to care about exploiting us... he's just lashing out at anyone and everyone whenever the fancy takes him.

I'm glad the NRA kept her out of office, but now we need to take a damned hard look at how and why they did it-- because the answers are neither going to be comfortable for them nor for us.

You were saying something but somehow I can't hear anything.

You can't hear anything because a single person in a photograph has distressed you? How very sad that a person with a flag in a photograph among 325 million people in America has made you deaf. Tell you what...

- The next time an idiot conservative with a gun murders out a handful of people in a school, I'll continue to refrain from calling all gun owners murderers.

- The next time I see an idiot conservative carrying a swastika, I'll continue to refrain from labeling all conservatives as neo-Nazi wannabes.

I will continue to understand words like perspective, context, and hold to my educated ability to be more than obtuse...if you can manage to gather your feelings up long enough to be brave against an idiot liberal with a flag in a photograph. Deal?

I don't see any conservatives visiting Venezuela and praising socialism; but it was until recently a mecca for far left celebrities to make the pilgrimage. Castor has attracted his share of lefties; Michael Moore loves what Castro's done with Cuba. When it's boiled down, there isn't a nit's worth of difference between socialism and communism; mostly a matter of degrees. And both turn into dictatorships sooner or later.

And how many liberals do you see? What you do, is criticize those examples AFTER looking at the context and details of those examples. Most of any of them have praised how Chavez fed the hungry in the beginning, nothing more. Exaggerating their comments is partisan. I remind you that there are 325 million people in the U.S. And Micheal Moore, along with celebrities, represent nothing but their own shallow idiocy.

Or we can all play this partisan game and label all gun owners as maniacs the next time one of them shoots up Vegas or a school. Or we can all play this ignorant game and declare that all conservatives are Nazi-wannabes the next time we see one carrying a flag with a Swastika on it. Works, right? It has always amazed me how the Right have always been far more susceptible to propaganda and labeling "the left" in the most dastardly general terms, but then turn around and declare "the left" as unfair for labeling all conservatives as bad gun owners or wanting right-wing dictatorship.

When Sean Penn went to Venezuela there was a lot of praise heaped on him by the liberal press. No where did I say ALL liberals supported him but a LOT of them did. Same with Michael Moore. Socialism is a liberal nightmare that just won't go away; free college, guaranteed income, jobs for everyone, open borders, universal healthcare, heavy regulation of industry and exorbitant tax rates. It's exemplified by Bernie, Warren, and now Cortez. Socialism is great until you run out of other people's money,.

Who cares about Sean Penn? Who cares about Micheal Moore? They have both always been cuckoo, with Moore being a deceitful liar.

And in order for the government to become "socialist," capitalism and democracy must die. If you fear this, then you don't know your country at all and have fallen victim to the propaganda that has built power around misrepresenting these words.

For example, you pay taxes. Those taxes are supposed to come back to society in various forms (not line the pockets of the wealthy who get permanent tax-cuts or select corporations that receive subsidies). This return of taxes in various forms is redistribution to take of society's needs, not to be confused with collectivization, which is communist and socialist and is more in line with state-sponsored confiscation and theft of private property, which is non-existent in a communist society. But somewhere along the way the mere mention of the word 'redistribution' conjures up thoughts of Mao and Stalin in conservative minds, who currently thrive in a democratic/capitalist society with socialistic programs built in.

And if you took the time to understand what pushed people to consider communism and even fascism in the first place, you might be able to see that Sanders and Warren are trying to prevent such extremes by simply taking care of citizens, many of whom are constantly screwed over by government's manipulations in the "free" market.

Socialism is great until you run out of other people's money,.

You should think about this when you ponder things such as Trickle-Down economics or a massive tax-cut that gives permanent to the wealthy and only temporary to the middle class. Taxes are supposed to come back to all citizens who pay taxes, not the few who proved during the Great Recession that it ain't going to trickle down. How is this economic system not communist by another name? Instead of collectivization, the elite are stealing the people's taxes.

Spoken like a true liberal. So now you all disown Penn and Moore? Once they were your hero's. You don't consider Bernie and Cortez socialists? They consider themselves socialists. Down with Capitalism, create the Socialist Utopia.

The difference between what I shared and your false equivalency is that your examples are universally condemned while what I showed is either ignored or defended, as many have defended ANTIFA.

I'm pretty sure the Soviet Union is universally condemned. In fact, because we are talking about a head-in-the clouds liberal kid with a Soviet Union flag, I would bet you a hundred bucks that he doesn't even understand the Soviet history. Like I stated, he is an idiot...not "the left."

The Soviet Union is condemned but not those in the U.S. flying their flag. In fact, as I stated, we had many people among the left defending ANTIFA, which is a communist group that uses violence against the political opposition.

That's because the symbolism of the Swastika has always far exceeded the symbolism of the Soviet flag in terms of evil. With parts of the world seeking to emulate Soviet economic practices, overlooking Joseph Stalin (and the abusive repression that continued after his death), was common. But nobody was trying to emulate a thing out of Germany's Third Reich. The Swastika quickly became associated to Satan himself.

And of course they are going to defend ANTIFA, just like many on the right defended neo-Nazis at the last shindig where both showed their asses to the world. Just like plenty on the right defended neo-Nazis at campaign rallies for Donald Trump by shrugging it off and declaring "fake news" if a camera caught it. In the mean time, we have a president who is more worried about losing the extremist vote than to be responsible. It tends to anger people, so when they see some ANTIFA clown showing his ass and shoving back, they shrug it out.

In many ways, the Soviet Union was as Reagan shallowly described it - the "evil empire." But the first, and normally only thing young Americans think of when speaking of an evil in the world, is the Swastika. The Third Reich tends to overshadow everything.

Right, right...Commies have only been responsible for way more deaths than the Nazis. NBD with not condemning them and it's OK that they find a little bit of a soft spot in the hearts of the left.

No...no one "defends neo-Nazis". The only thing people have said is that they have the same rights to the 1st Amendment as anyone else. That means if they want to hold their little ****ty Nazi rally, they have that right. That's not the same as defending them. This is different than many on the left who actually defends Antifa and their ideology.

I can agree with you here but I think there are many reasons for this, some of them being that communism, and communist ideology, is alive and well on the left. It's especially so in academia.

Are you this far gone that you can't see an obvious partisan smear? First of all, Paul Kengor is not a historian. He is a political scientists and his volume of work encompasses partisan politics that involve historical revisionism for political purposes. Kengor is a character known in the community for taking unproven statements out of context in order to present a falsehood. Second, his source, William Bullitt, is a discredited figure in history and he and Roosevelt disliked each other. Here are the facts if you actually give a **** beyond your own partisan nonsense:

1919: Wilson refused to open dimplomatic relations with the new Soviet Union.
1930: By this year, Soviet-American trade had risen to over $100 million.
1933: FDR established diplomatic relations with the Soviet Union because he recognized that the Soviet regime was a reality.
1934: FDR rejected Soviet requests for joint policies against Japan and Germany.
1937: FDR again rejected Soviet requests for joint policies against Japan and Germany.
1939: After France and Britain gave Hitler part of Czechoslovakia, Stalin charged that the West wanted Germany to turn east. Here is where the nonaggression pact develops.
1941: The U.S. and the Soviet Union became accidental allies because Hitler turned on Stalin.
1943: At the Tehran summit, FDR agreed to move Poland's borders two hundred miles west into Germany if Stalin agreed to help invade Japan.
1944: As the Red Army swept across eastern Europe, Churchill secretly broke from FDR's policy of democracy in eastern Europe and flew to Moscow. He secretly recognized Soviet domination in Bulgaria and Romania as long as Russia recognized British ownership over Greece.
1945: At the Yulta Summit, Stalin got little that he had not already achieved through Red Army occupation. Stalin's occupations of Eastern Europe meant either accepting it, horping he would just leave, or continuing the war to Moscow. A major concession that Stalin gave at Yulta was a Joint Deceleration on Liberated Europe. With the Red Army occupying Europe as far as east Berlin, the most that Roosevelt and Churchill could trust was that Stalin would at least go through the motions of democratic elections in his territory. He did so after rigging virtually every single one.

So, no, FDR never trusted Stalin. He recognized that Stalin was a business man and that his real goal was only to secure his own dictatorship. In the meantime, FDR was in the midst of World War, understood that with Stalin being a wartime ally that the Soviet Union had a space reserved for a future UN, and that the U.S. would continue to conduct business as it did prior to the war. Kengor is a partisan ass and his source is a documented liar.

You just allowed yourself to be duped by a hack political scientist who's historical goal has been to merely denigrate Democrats. Your accusations are largely based on nonsense.

History has proven what I’d posted about FDR. That damning quote about giving Uncle Joe everything was published in LIFE magazine in the 40’s.

FDR’s wife was a Commi sympathizer, and just like the past decades, Socialism/Communism was in fashion. The Left licked it off the floor it was so appealing to them.

I guess you don’t believe Ted Kennedy sent a letter to the thug Andropov in an attempt to bring down Reagan.

Why do Leftists have such a soft spot for Communists?

And why did Feinstein’s having a spy for a driver for 20-years not get reported in the press. His firing happened only 5-years ago.

Good try though.

The real burning question that needs to be answered here is, what kind of car was she driving? ;)

She, like most Leftists, many of whom have been Commi Sympathizers for decades... are easy marks.

I understand Senator Feinstein and her husband Richard Blum made more than $52 million on their "investments" in China through the years.... Hmm..?
"Perhaps all of this is just a coincidence. However, this penetration by a hostile intelligence service appears more significant than anything that happened during the 2016 election, more sustained, and aimed far more at American security".

I haven't read a single argument in this thread from a conservative that isn't positively dripping with intellectual dishonesty.

So you don't understand what you read? Based on your posts, that's not surprising.
