Trump inherited 'cyber-crisis' from Obama, VP Pence says at cybersecurity summit

OK. Fine.... enjoy the 30 seconds of excuse that comes with that. But, if you are going to assign blame, you better be willing to accept it. Right now Trump has the ball. It is his responsibility to respond and fix the problem. Failure to do so makes it his problem.

What has he done to protect the 2018 elections? He hasn't even fully embraced the fact the the Russians interfered with the 2016 elections because his fragile ego won't let him acknowledge that he had the Russian wins at his back in an extremely close election. Thus far, he has put his fragile ego ahead of the security of the United States. To describe his leadership on this issue, only one word comes to mind: "PATHETIC".
It's difficult to address a problem if one hasn't acknowledged that there is one. The only thing Swampy has said was that the 'Russians are going to try to intervene ON BEHALF of the Democrats' Laughably, this happened on the same day that it was discovered that the Russians hacked a Democratic U.S. Senator.

In the meantime, any preemptive actions are being taken in-spite of Swampy, not because of him. This is a severe violation of his oath to protect the nation from enemies foreign and domestic.

But before Trump, the President wasn't allowed to legislate. That was the job of Congress, which was firmly in Republican hands.
It's only been since Trump was elected that the principle of checks-and-balances was abandoned and Congress became a rubber-stamp.

That's one of the silliest statements I've seen on here. Congress hardly 'rubber stamps' his efforts -- in fact he's faced resistance to outright opposition on many issues from his own party.

You have something called an executive order. Id suggest you read up on that.

I think it was Hoover’s fault. Maybe even Lincoln’s fault. What the hell, maybe it was really Washington’s fault.

Every president is the victim of the previous president’s good and bad deeds. But Trump is special - he’s ****ed up so many things that it’s hard to distinguish who did what? Other than that, Pence is Trump’s official penis sucker. So anything is likely to come out of his mouth.
