Immigration and Customs Enforcement, an agency many Democrats want to abolish, recently conducted a raid in Newark, New Jersey and arrested dozens of illegal aliens. The overwhelming majority have serious criminal records.
ICE targeted Illegal aliens who had been incarcerated in the Middlesex County Jail and released into the community by local law enforcement without notice to federal immigration officials. The aliens arrested had ICE detainers that were not honored. Newark is a "sanctuary city."
"Of those arrested, 16 subjects had been previously released by MCJ without honoring the ICE detainer and 78% had prior criminal convictions or pending criminal charges. The individuals arrested as part of the operation were nationals of Brazil, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, India, Ivory Coast, Mexico, Nigeria, Peru, and Turkey," ICE released Friday. "These individuals range from 21 to 68 years old and all were previously arrested or convicted of a variety of offenses. Some of the arrests and convictions included: aggravated criminal sexual contact, aggravated assault, DUI, hindering apprehension, endangering the welfare of a child, battery, theft, burglary, possession of a weapon, forgery, domestic violence assault, disorderly conduct, and illegal entry."

Democrats continue to help criminals like this by enacting Sanctuary City laws and policies against America showing their 2018 campaign slogan 'For the People' is a lie. Job One if you’re For the People it's also public safety.
Actually, if local authorities would cooperate and hand over criminal illegal aliens at the jail house door, then ICE will not have to go to their residences to apprehend the criminal illegal aliens AND all other residents of the house that are illegally here. Law of unintended consequences!! In sanctuary cities, many more non-criminal illegal aliens are deported.
One can’t help but suspect that in some Sanctuary Cities, law enforcement members are helping ICE get these vicious criminals off the streets.
You have to wonder if It's the "MEDIA" running the Democrats? Where do the politicians and appointees of Democrats go when they leave DC? MANY go get a job with THEIR bosses: MSM. Look at the last 10 years. Who is really "controlling" the message? Not the nitwits that were elected. They aren't that smart/clever/etc.

Personally, I hate Sanctuary cities; have for years. We have a right to control our own border.

My problem is solely with how this administration suddenly decided to "control" it last April, when it blocked legal asylum seekers, ripped children from their parents, and deported people without a due process hearing.

Seeing as that wasn't what was happening and family separations were happening under several presidents before Trump. It's surprising to see posters with such sentiments still exist.

See my correction of the date and the misspelling of Ms. Pavlich's name. The source is credible all you have to do is check local reporting in Middlesex County, N.J.

Is there anything else you'd care to criticize rather than the Ms. Pavlich's report. No I never took a typing course I hunt and peck. I wrote my college reports. When I went to school typewriters were expensive items and computers were only in science fiction.

Actually there have been cases in which the allowed the suspect to leave via a controlled exit that the ICE agents were not aware of, or given access to. That or they are told to wait for an agents arrival to pick the suspect up and they expedite the release to spite the agent.

No other administration has physically blocked access to legal ports of asylum, then separated thousands of children from their parents, who were legally seeking asylum , then deporting those parents without a due process hearing, while forcing children who have no legal representation, many of whom are below the age of 5, to represent themselves in court, all of which results in parents not having any idea where their children are (because even the "government" doesn't know) and facing the reality that thousands of them may never, ever see their children again, nor ever know what happened to them.

This is NOT the hill on which to plant your flag or die. Seriously. There is NO excuse for what the Trump administration did illegally, according to every judge who has had this case heard, to the point that the Administration has to admit it did not bother to keep track of which parent and which child belonged together, and therefore have no way of reuniting these families as the courts have demanded due to gross governmental incompetence!

Some of these children are infants, children too young to actually be able to speak. History will show this callous disregard of human rights and horrific child abuse as a shameful, cruel episode of American history. You should be ashamed and humiliated to publicly admit that you are pleased by it and support it.

And I learned to type on a typewriter too; when computers were introduced, some twenty years ago, I adapted; perhaps you could do the same, and shake the cobwebs out of your "how to proof-read your own work" file.

So I, and others, will be there to refute them. This is horrific, shameful, heartbreaking, inhumane and illegal. The fact that our own ****ing government would so such a horrific thing to innocent children has not only cut me to the quick, it has affected millions of other Americans the same way.

They will speak out; I will speak out.

The only time any of you actually showed this same faux outrage was when he started the zero tolerance policy and then it got into numbers that non of you could easily ignore, so you all had to just jump on your damn high-horses and screech in unison about how this is against human rights (even though it wasn't) and proceed to slam your head against the wall until you got your way. Had any of the prior presidents or politicians actually given a damn about this issue, it would have been fixed by now, but they didn't

This is reality: Over 2,500 kids taken from their parents illegally in six weeks. If you are okay with that, then continue to applaud the illegal child abuse heaped upon little brown children who apparently don't deserve the protection our own constitution affords them.

You have no idea how real my outrage is; every judge who has had one of Trump's "zero tolerance" cases brought before them has adjudicated that the government acted illegally in removing those children from their parents and refusing due process as is constitutionally required.

Your ****ing "whataboutism" is no defense to this mass abuse of people who were legally seeking asylum, yet were stopped, arrested, denied due process, and had their children, some only infants, whisked away from them. You, and Trump's government, have absolutely no legal, constitutional defense of this abuse. You calling me names may make you feel better, but it doesn't change reality... or US law.

No, you suck it up, Oborosen, because the reality is that the Trump administration was unconstitutional, illegal, cruel, inhumane, and every damned judge since his malicious policy was implemented has said the same thing. Trump's administration is not above the constitution, it is not above the law, according to every judge who has seen this horrific governmental abuse, it IS against the law, and eventually you are going to have to start living in reality, because people like Trump and people like you are not going to be allowed to approve a humanitarian catastrophe without retribution for your savage, unconstitutional barbarism.

Just a note here, I'm not going to get into the children aspect of this at this time as it is far more complicated than what many want people to believe and goes back farther than Trump.

Anyways, Trump never deported anyone seeking asylum without due process. He made a call to nix the due process, but it was never implemented.
