BREAKING: Miami Dolphins SHOCK Anthem Kneelers with New Threat

I dunno. Maybe it's cause the Great White Donald called em sonsabitches while Nazis in Charlottesville are "very fine people," to name but one among thousands of examples.

Well, they are sonsabitches.......traitorous, America-hating sonsabitches.

And he didn't say Nazis are fine people, he said some of the people who opposed the commie racists were fine people.

I'm glad Miami is taking our president's advice and cracking down on the flag-haters.

More teams will now follow suit.

I don't really care. I just want to watch football and don't define my patriotism or nationalism by any civilian's shallow measure.

What I find insulting is how conservatives have turned this kneeling thing into a liberal issue (to avoid the cop issue), while they chew their gum or talk to their neighbors in the stands with their hands over their hearts and merely going through the motions. What makes it more insulting is when they tie this to some of sort of military "support" after laughing at a joke that denigrates American POWs.

Who is one one the main sponsors of the NFL?

well, wadda ya know....the armed forces of the united states

Now...you can bad mouth Trump all you damn well want....but those players get paid by a team, that gets paid in part by the military....so a little damn respect for the flag and the anthem is what is called for

if they want to protest on the late night shows....and on Tuesdays when no practices....let them carry signs outside of stadiums

but on the field, they represent their employer....and they either toe the line, or they can GTFO

and that is the bottom line

I'm quite sure that all those proclaiming taking a knee during the NA is disrespectful sit on their asses when it's played on TV.

i believe you will find that the people in the stadium do stand, and they are paying customers and want the players to stand also

Funny how bent out of shape righties get about someone taking a knee. And yet...

Crickets...

i hate crap like this too

i think it is god awful, and disrespectful

but my dad told me many a years ago, that was the price of free speech

sometimes we had to hear and see stuff we really didnt like at all.....

Fair point.

We should stop with the national anthem to begin with. I don't watch football to watch people stand around while a song plays. The TV broadcast should start with the kickoff and end with the final play.

think of the demographics of who watches a typical game

is a 15-29 year old male somewhere in the mix?

why do you think the US armed forces is a major sponsor of both the NFL and college football?

it is a great tool for putting the idea of recruitment out there.....

and the national anthem and the showing of the colors plays into the nationalism

Try protesting at work. On the clock. Try it. Let us know how it works out. They may be highly paid employees but they are still employees.

It would be very odd in any other career field for your employer to play the anthem and require you to stand before the work day began. But I don’t blame the NFL for coming up with these rules. It is all about the bottom line for them. I get that.

But people MAKING this an issue the NFL has to now address are just annoying little kids who are whining when they don’t get their way. I would get it if the kneeling was happening during game play, thus flow of the game. But giving a damn what the players are doing on the sidelines when they aren’t playing makes zero sense to me. And yes, I think the kneeling is also silly, but again, what the hell do I care if it isn’t happening during game play?

“Snowflake” as a pejorative may have been coined by the right wing but all sides seems to have ample supply of them.

It's like you purposefully choose to be obtuse. It's not about the fans or the anthem.

Great. While you partisan disciples are playing your petty games of false nationalism and pretending to understand what words mean, my team is going to be distracted with this nonsense. Why don't the "Patriots" do this crap?

Is there anything in America that you partisan's aren't hell bent on destroying in the name of your own shallow world views? I hear that scum bag, welfare agent Santa Clause plans to give toys out again this year, denying conservative parents everywhere their right to buy their own toys for their own kids. I say we pull out our Second Amendment, search the skies for sleighs, and show that commie what liberty means!

Wow, you really don't understand this issue and just double down on insulting everyone that doesn't agree with you. How petty and tiresome your posts are getting.

Being an uber liberal I'm sure you'd think that.

See, that's the beauty of this country. We can give a damn about anything we damn well please and if we don't like it we can take our viewership and dollars elsewhere.

Don't like it,....flick, here's a tear for you.

I never said people don’t have the RIGHT to be whiny little bitches. But the more politicized we make such institutions the more they will be driven into the ground. But if that is what people want, then carry on.

You are missing the point, just like the earlier poster. Its not about who complains, the NFL could give a damn, its about lost revenue. If you want an analogy, an employee at a big box store cant walk around saying America sucks and expect it not to impact their employment eventually, no matter what their first amendment rights are.

If you want to be honest about the anthem its virtue signaling but in the opposite of the usual direction.

These over payed guys should do what they get all those $$$ for, play ball and stuff it until they clock out. In a fair world, our military would be payed more than some guys throwing a ball, but...

WOW Indeed!

Do they play the national anthem where you work?

Phony issues are all gops have. Next time a drunkie drunk at the Legion upchucks for Cadet bone spurs, I’ll ask the guy next to him why they support traitors ****ing over farm country.

Next, we can ask why ‘toddler cages’ Kushner is ****ing over Veterans with the VA. McConnellism would give no quarter here. Same with me.

And why these Veterans disgrace our POW-MIA flag supporting ‘my Vietnam was not getting STDs’.

Do they play the national anthem where you work?

Nope, but the minimum wage isn’t over 600k annually either

For that wage....i think most people who ****ing whistle Dixie if asked....

But then again, that is my opinion....yours may differ

I addressed that point in the last three sentences of my first paragraph. I just didn’t stop there.

Not one of those thing have anything to do with the NFL and players kneeling

Can you stay on point?

i believe you will find that the people in the stadium do stand, and they are paying customers and want the players to stand also

There are many people in the stands that do not stand. Freedom of speech. And before you play the "But, but, but...the flag bull****, freedom of speech trumps symbolism

And sometimes you have to put up with non violent protests. Frredom of speech means everyone.

The cop issue? iLOL That wasn't an actual issue and was thoroughly addressed by pointing that out.

Nonsense. It's a black lives matter issue. But you know what? To me it's become a fake Republican patriotism issue and a trump issue.

I will never stand for the pledge or the national anthem before a game or a school event again.
