  • The Senate on Thursday voted unanimously (98-0) in favor of a resolution expressing Congress's opposition to the US government allowing Russia to question US officials.
  • It came after Trump signaled he might be open allowing Russia to interrogate nearly a dozen Americans, including former US ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul.
  • The resolution passed Thursday was proposed by Democratic Sens. Chuck Schumer, the minority leader, as well as Bob Menendez, Dick Durbin, and Brian Schatz.

I agree but this is a job the republicans have to do. The dems will surely help but the GOP has to lead. I think they are beginning to smell the coffee.

To tell the truth I don't understand the resistance to getting Traitor Trump out of there and replacing him with Pence, who is a VERY conservative Republican. Is it simply the disease with impeaching a president of one's own party...or is it more than that?

It is a meaningless resolution that controls nothing.

The resolution has no control over anything that happens.
It is a resolution that just says, this is our collective sense (opinion) on this subject. That is all.

Trump is playing these fools so hard.. Ya know I wasn't too encouraged by how Trump would handle the swamp creatures politically, but he has done a phenomenal job thus far!..

You don't even realize that Trump said sure, you can question our officials so long as we can question yours about hacking.. Seems like the perfect "fair" trade, yet, oh no, senate republicans just got hoodwinked by senate dems, and the dems I don't even blame, they're not supposed to understand Trump's end game here, but the GOP should, and this is troubling to me. Trump if anything needs to communicate better with congressional republicans' about why he does some of the things he does. Seems that it all went WAAAYY over their collective heads! ;) Wonder if Mueller is paying attention at least? ;)
