Twitter Users Aren’t Buying Trump’s Excuse About Defending Russia

The president said he misspoke when he dismissed the idea that Russia had interfered in the 2016 presidential campaign.

President Donald Trump’s attempt at damage control isn’t going over so well.

Trump claimed Tuesday that he misspoke when he said he accepted Russian President Vladimir Putin’s denial that the Kremlin had interfered with the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

“President Putin just said it’s not Russia,” Trump said Monday at a press conference with the Russian leader. “I don’t see any reason why it would be.”

After political figures on both sides of the aisle severely criticized Trump for dismissing the U.S. intelligence community’s assessment that Russie meddled in the election, the president claimed he hadn’t meant to say what he did.

I will openly admit I have blinders on when viewing Trump. I admit it.

I'm a numbers guy. I see a U.S economy that is roaring. I see good sound policies in place. I see a trade war which we are winning. Trump economics is re-writing the history books. GDP growth up! Profits up! Employment up! H.W Bush called it Voodoo economics, but that was a myth. Trump is proving you can re-work better deals. Not a new deal, the best deal!

I see a justice in Neil Gorsuch that follows the Consitution and doesn't support government overreach or stipping away civil liberties/rights.

Despite some missteps I see some good things happening. His style is polarizing but the resume is creating a new and better economy.

The economy was roaring back in February, less so now. The growth has been flattening. What happened was Trump inherited a robust recovery from a recession, the strongest recovery in memory, and with his trade war might have found a way to torpedo it.
 
Trump couldn't wait but what..hours after he read a phony document he doesn't believe about a double negative, he went right back to saying it wasn't Russia today. Holy ****balls, his betrayal has no bounds.

Trump, today:

Have you ever seen the movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off? The point of that movie was to live life to the fullest. The problem with these oppressive tariffs from China is that they oppress our country, our citizens, and workers. Finally, Trump is doing something about it so more people in America can be like Ferris.

One example you may or may heard about is cherries. Innocent cherries.

Farmers in Traverse City Michigan have to dump 10-20% of their own cherries in the garbage. Turkey (not the food, but country) exports a massive amount of their cherries here.

China and Turkey want to put U.S farmers out of business in not only cherries, but apples, etc. These countries don't play fair. It is time for a change.

It is a stupid categorization of detractors. Who are the "twitter users" they speak of? How were their opinions gathered by HuffPo? It is a term that has no meaning or use other than to subtract from their point.

The Washington Post reported that twitter suspended/deleted 70 million accounts in May and June alone and they are still "cleaning out".
You'll probably find some of those twitter users gone in a little while ... ;)
