Rod Rosenstein visits White House for 'routine meetings'

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein visited the White House on Tuesday for what was described as "routine meetings."

Rosenstein, who is overseeing Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation of possible Trump campaign collusion with Russia, did not meet with President Trump, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said in a statement.

Sanders did not identify the officials with whom Rosenstein met, or the topics they discussed.

NBC reported that the President didn’t show up at the Oval Office until late today; they know this because the Marine guard wasn’t present until the President comes to work. I see there being a change of schedule in the near future.......

We agree for once. He does that a lot and it's never a big deal, except to certain Rosenstein trackers. I swear he should have a fan club dedicated to his each and every move.

I don't like Rosenstein (or Sessions for that matter), but this seems like a nothingburger.

No, it just spikes their bull**** meter for some reason.

That is somehow tuned to ignored nearly every other aspect of their own existence.

Unfortunately so, I would like it if they could actually argue on policy... yet I haven't seen one of them do that in a good while.
