And you were talking about the Dems embarrassing themselves? Pence didn't break a tie vote in the Gorsuch vote. Gorsuch passed 54-45 with 3 Dems voting to confirm. This information is not hard to find.
 
The Democrats need to stop the behavior because I don't care about their own opinions because I don't believe that we should try to pack the bench for a particular political party’s! The way I look at it is if you want to be a politician be in Congress or anything but, frankly any judge will follow the law not the democrats want to write

2018 was always a terrible map. For better or for worse, after 2018 I think Democrats can fight back more.

I'd like to see the New Deal nonsense concerning the commerce clause rolled back.

There is nothing the democrats can do to stop this vote. Reid made sure that would happen. He is the one that ended the filibuster rule on judges.
the rest is just more crying.

It is ONLY true in the President's last year in office. If the President could only make appointments in non election years, he could not make an appointment every other year which is absolutely absurd.

i think that is where it has to come from.
although it was challenged by a farmer when it started.

so there is a case of an individual actually making another run at it.

Partly correct. McConnell ended it for SCOTUS nominees.

They are going after him for being Catholic - the very people that made up the core of the base of the “old” democrat party, particularly in the “rust belt” where a Trump is stealing the democrats base leaving them with a group of diverse tribes full of crazy people with pitch forks and torches who look for teenagers in MAGA hats to beat up.
