Doesn't bother me at all. Thought I said that. Sure, see? Right there, "Not that I'm saying they shouldn't take their protest to this point. That's up to them." That was me saying they should use whatever satire makes their expression suit them. I just said I wouldn't get behind them, not that they shouldn't do it.
Once more (three times now), I applaud their point. Wouldn't say it that way myself but that doesn't mean I think they shouldn't.

"I wouldn't get behind them" and "I applaud their point" are a blatant self-contradicion.

No, listen. I applaud their point, but I wouldn't say it like that. I see no contradiction. You and I can agree on something and each express our identical viewpoint in different ways. Your expression might not be my choice and I might choose to separate myself from it, but that's not disagreeing.
A few years ago in Cuba I saw a billboard (on a backroad in the middle of nowhere, oddly enough) showing GW Bush with a Hitler mustache and the forlock. It was pretty funny. If the picture had been someone holding Bush's severed head, with blood everywhere, my reaction would have been different. I would have got their point but I wouldn't have made the point that way.
Having said all that, I bet the balloon will look pretty funny travelling down a street between the buildings.
But I wouldn't do that.

It comes from the fact that the people from the UK are a bunch of pathetic ****ers that sacrifice their rights based on feeeeelings. Thats where it came from. People from the UK used to have a set. Now? Twats...the lot. When you live in a country that actually allows people to be locked up for saying things that might 'offend' someone? When you SUPPORT that ****? Screw them and anyone like them.

Basic laws on knives

It’s illegal to:

sell a knife to anyone under 18, unless it has a folding blade 3 inches long (7.62 cm) or less
carry a knife in public without good reason, unless it has a folding blade with a cutting edge 3 inches long or less
carry, buy or sell any type of banned knife
use any knife in a threatening way (even a legal knife)
