Kim Jong-un accepts Donald Trump's invitation to visit the US, state media reports

The link you provided was prior to the summit. Most in NK didn't find out about the summit (in the media) until the day Kim left.

After the summit NK media reported some of it, including seeking peace and denuclearization on the Korean peninsula.

Many experts are also surprised with how much details their media provided and how quickly they made the information available. Far quicker than int he past... Which (some have claimed) could have significant meaning.

Though, I am not all in.. it seems promising.. Only time will tell.

A Fox News article had it summarized nicely after viewing that NK propaganda video on the summit:

"... The post-summit transformation of North Korea’s official version of Trump, who’s now being shown by state media looking serious and almost regal, underscores the carefully choreographed reality show the government has had to orchestrate. The goal: to keep its people, taught from childhood to hate and distrust the “American imperialists,” ideologically on board with seismic shifts in the relationship with Washington."

I, personally, am very optimistic on the NK development.

That's a good point. I hadn't thought of it and what it means to be showing Trump in such a fashion through their eyes.

No conservatives removed Saddam insane from power before he acquired nuclear weapons. Trump inherited Obama's complete and utter failure in NK and now is doing the only thing possible after the fact.
 
This is unacceptable. trump should not be talking to are enemies without preconditions. ;)

Dunno, Jack. There was no news provided to the people of North Korea, in any form, that the meeting between Kim and Trump occurred.

Until Kim starts sharing with his own people that he is engaging in meetings with the US, South Korea, China, or any country, regardless where they take meet, Kim isn’t placing himself under any personal scrutiny or accountability.

In other words, if he’s not willing to stop the oppression at the degree it exist today, being a hardcore dictator will still cause him problems with democratic nations. They won’t trust him even if he’s claiming that he’ll backoff or shutdown the nuke program.

Kim’s secret diplomatic life and isolationism isn’t very promising.

The CNN broadcast version isn’t what was “shown in North Korea”. Only small snippets of the CNN report was shown in NK.

What was “actually” broadcasted - wasn’t broadcast until two days after the Dumb and Dumber Summit - and it was typical BS propaganda.

Internet is banned in NK. There is only Government TV programming. Anything people see is Kim praising himself for building 60 nukes, musical and making claims about how every other nation in the civilized world are their enemies. The only see exactly what Kim wants them to see. Remember, Kim’s family has been the sole dictators of NK since 1948.

And when I made my post, citizens in NK didn’t know WTF was happening.

But after the little $mega-million, cost to the US taxpayers bull**** session, the following is what the common folks came to know after the meeting.

The rats will jump ship on this. The outrage is growing and people are not going to let this stand.. Trump miscalculated. And the GOP is going to take it in the ass come midterms.

I hope you're right TC. It's actually shocked me the last few days to see just how low Trump supporters are sinking in an effort to show loyalty to the man. They seem to now share his affection for Kim. It's creepy as hell.
