David Hogg's Home Was "Swatted" This Morning

Absolute hogwash, bull crap, nonsense. Protesting is not a reason to deserve possibly getting shot and killed by the police due to some idiot making a swatting call.

Calling millions of people terrorists or that they don't care or are responsible for the deaths of children because they disagree with you doesn't seem very classy, in fact it sounds much like the rhetoric of Donald Trump.

How could this not be illegal-its filing a false report for starters. I cannot stand Hogg but whoever did this to him should be doing serious time

I was able to find out at the Gateway Pundit. It seems Publix is not going to make donations anymore...to anyone.

And I stand by my earlier statement that Donald Trump is a bigger threat to Planned Parenthood than David Hogg. And that statement caused a bit of a disturbance that I was changing the subject from David Hogg. So I imagine, that all statements about David Hogg are to be tolerated, and not compared or contrasted with our glorious POTUS.

Swatting, done by anyone of any political stripe, isn't something people should have to "deal with" because they exercised their right to free speech. I hope they find the person or persons responsible and lock 'em up. The gamer swatted a guy who ended up dead at the hands of the police last December, is being charged with a felony, but only for a false alarm.

They need to severely increase the penalties for swatting. Right now I think its only being treated as a prank, but start handing out 5-year sentences and I'll bet you'll get a drastic reduction

The post sounds rather abstract whereas David Hogg is among the surviving teenage veterans nationwide of a fully armed assailant who invaded their school intent on mass murder and who did exactly that. This is true and it is also true NRA owns the Congress which it has in a hammerlock. LaPierre's wailing and accusatory speeches reflect a determination to justify and perpetuate millions of students going to school in a state of fear if not terror each day. And being among those killed in regular and predictable outbursts. The NRA's foundational solution is more guns to feed the beast. While the young lad could be more artful in his statements the NRA could become more civilized in their views, policies, behaviors. Indeed, NRA is behind the curve on the civilization thingy. Yes, calling your opponents terrorists is a lazy cliche' and often OTT so that could be toned down. Telling 'em they're cave men would be more on target.

Lol, how is calling people cave men any better than terrorists? You talk about being civilized, I was always under the assumption that having rational discourse rather than resort to ad hominem attacks is the sign of being civilized.

Lol, NRA owns congress? They merely support politicians who are going to protect our rights. They no more own Congress then Planned Parenthood or the unions, actually less so.

NRA supports politicians who protect your wrongs.

David gets hyperbolic and at times he is a bit fierce. Yet I'm disinclined to accept criticisms of this from people who ignore Wayne LaPierre and his whining hysterics to include his fanatic dogmas. We know many people of differing political faiths suspect the perp in this swatting of David's home is an NRA member or supporter or just a plain old NRA gun nut type citizen. It's also a stretch to think someone who voted for Clinton or Obama did the swatting. The swatter perp is a cave man, yes.

I'd posted already that a good number of posts to the thread are by right wingers who condemn the swatting. Some of 'em give David a smack upside the head but they know all the same the swatting is wrong wrong wrong and want the perp caught, convicted, sent away. This is indeed what the thread is about more than political rhetoric.
