Filing a false police report in Florida is misdemeanor. It is also so in most other states, if not all.

Swatting is unacceptable, going after his family in any way isn't acceptable. Confronting Hogg and the rest of the morons who follow his stupid, using facts, principles and the constitution is the way to win this debate. I can't stand the kidd, I hope they bring their little caravan through San Antonio I'll be sure to show up and protest him and his little band of turd brained gungrabbers.

That's the way to express disagreement, exercise your 1st amendment rights.

Swatting should not even be called a prank as I saw it described in other headlines. A prank causes embarrassment. This could have caused death.

Absolutely WRONG! What happened is illegal! So if you are in the public eye and someone disagrees with you they can do what they want?

He believes he can pardon himself, that he is above any laws, enriches his buddies and himself, publicly attacks anyone who he does not like, had the mentality of a child, and wants to be president for life.
Yup, he is pure dictator.

Considering that it's illegal, obviously not. That does not obligate me to feel pity for him, after all the division he's caused.

Anyone who puts themselves in the public eye becomes a target. Does that make it right? no. Obviously, it's illegal. Just look at all gamers and youtube streamers that got "swatted" as a joke a few years back, and their 'public' was only a few hundred/few thousand people. It's just the nature of the beast.

from a legal point of view, I have a problem with it. It's illegal, end of story, and I hope they throw the book at the people who did this. That DOES NOT obligate me to be his advocate, however.
