McCain defends giving dossier to Comey: 'I would do it again'

What a bitter disrespectful traitorous man he s. Looking back at everything this dying bitter songbird has done these past few years and in Vietnam as a non heroic (Trump was right) prisoner of war, the Vietcong actually did us a disservice. Nevertheless, by giving Comey a Clinton funded, Russia sourced document that was later used to obtain a FISA warrant to spy on the Trump campaign, both McCain and Comey colluded to effect the outcome of the 2016 election.

They’re also both scumbags.

With that said, most people I have heard use the time before the end to be more loving and to regret the good things they neglected to do.. I think this time it doesn’t build his character but reveals his character as the old saying goes.

McCain isn't perfect but he is an American hero and he has had many statesman-like moments.

And Trump is evil.

Yeah, he's a maverick alright! So full of regret, hate, bitterness and envy.
He simply confirms what I always believed he was at heart... a slimy, war mongering, womanizing, self-absorbed, self-aggrandizing RINO with little man syndrome.

I didn't like Obama, did not vote for him or McCain, but if we had to do 2008 over, Obama deserved to win that election.

Well of course he would do it again, it was the patriotic thing to do. It's what any true American would do when it came to there attention that a presidential candidate was a traitor working with a hostile foreign government to get himself elected.

McCain is a hero who takes his oath to protect the nation from all enemies foreign and domestic seriously.
He very well go down in history as America's last true republican...

Wow. So the man serves his country to protect its interests, gets shot down, and that means he's not heroic despite putting his life on the line. Then you have someone who didn't serve, but instead managed to avoid serving is passing judgment on a POW. That is just dumb. Disagreeing and disliking McCain as a politician is one thing, but downplaying his sacrifice is low brow nonsense.

For those who defend McCain’s non existent “honorable” service and say we shouldn’t insult a guy in his pitiful condition, it is statements like this, along with his dying-breath determination to obstruct anything positive and betray conservatives one last time, that makes the opportunity to call him out irresistible. We Trump supporters will go to Washington and protest his burial at Arlington. Hell, even heroic George Armstrong Custer would be appalled at him being buried there.

I really detested almost everything Obama did, (oh, don't get me started) but I digress, when the people voted, that's it......we have to respect the electoral process, and accept who lost and who won. McCain, like Hillary, simply cannot get over the fact that they lost it because someone better beat them. And being on his deathbed ranting about Trump gives him no passes to act like a complete disgrace to the office he was elected to serve; Senator of the state of Arizona. He is still a senator, though out on sick leave, but that does not give him the right to disgrace his office. The fact that McCain served his country, many better men have served this great country.... but that doesn't give them a right to disgrace the office of the presidency if elected to a public office. Those who elected McCain, and this president must feel embarrassed and angry by McCain's rants.

McCain is a man with not much to lose at this point in the game, and his words and actions could be explained by his advanced illness. He is also an imperfect human, as well as a veteran, deserving respect. Saying otherwise is shameful. So yes, shame on you.

But it's unsurprising that Cadet Bone Spur's loyal followers would be trashing McCain now.


Before Trump, if someone talked like Trump did about McCain, Republicans would take that person to the woodshed.


This is just one more way that rightwingers have had to do a 180 and become people that they used to despise in order to align themselves with the degenerate who is now called president.
 
And I predict that once this excuse for a Potus we now have is gone, many of those same people will disclaim his. That's what a lot of them did with GWB. Although that president made bad choices, his choices were nowhere close to the unethical, embarrassment we now have. Kuddos to McCain.
