Seems to me if I don't care that the person I voted for is a womanizing adulterer and serial liar, that I am embracing the notion that I accept such behavior. By voting for that person, you've decided that there are no negative consequences for it, which is to accept it. He got your vote. How else can you "accept" it other than by voting for him and supporting him after the election?

The following is absurd for example: "I don't care if my wife cheats on me, and I will not impose any costs to that behavior, but I do not accept it!"
