In the cold opening of the episode, Podesta is shown saying,

“The government seems to be completely unaccountable to the public. They rarely release anything they know, or the findings.” He goes on to say, “people want to know what the government knows, and they ought to know what the government knows.”

Podesta seems convinced the government is hiding evidence of aliens, just as so many on the Left think it is hiding evidence of Russia stealing the 2016 election.

Anyone with half a brain knows its mathematically impossible that we are alone in the universe. Does the government know more than anyone else about extraterrestrial civilizations with the technological power to travel here from another star system? Ha...hahaha....ha... like they would let the primates with gigantic 50 megaton warheads pointed at themselves know ANYTHING... HA! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the most convincing piece of evidence that there are no known aliens is that Trump hasn't said anything about them existing. If the US had evidence that aliens existed, Trump would have spilled the beans already.

I love this! It's nice that the right has finally recognized that the secrecy by US intelligence and law enforcement allows them unchecked powers!

space aliens aren't visiting us in disco lighted saucers that look like whatever the latest movie about space aliens was. pretty much every man, woman, and child is walking around with a video camera 24/7, so if ET was riding around in Elliott's front basket, there would be at least 800 videos a day of it.

I kind of hope we run into aliens after my life time, thank you very much. Cowardly? Sure. But anybody who thinks we're defeating an alien invasion by uploading the latest version of Windows to their mothership is in for a rude awakening.

The Voyager was launched into space in the seventies, so actually it stands to reason that any aliens hoping to relate to us might arrive in disco lighted saucers.

one of my best friends had this dance choreography down step for step when we were in college. it was something else to watch.

Podesta is correct that the government has been covering up many facts regarding the presence of aliens. But in the hypothetical that Hillary would have pursued it had she been elected, wake up Mr. Podesta, had that come to pass, Prez Hillary would have been told the same thing as Prez Bill and Prez Carter--STFU, you don't have the clearance.
