Israeli Intel Officials: Trump’s Syria Strike Accomplished Nothing [W:13]

You made a stupid comment and got called out. Quit whining and give it a rest, already.

The only stupid comments I've seen here are your own. Quit your whining and give it a rest.

See how easy that was? You've got nothing, never had more. So quoth the raven.

Uh oh, OFG is butthurt.

This strike was more about Trump acting tough, but not actually being tough. It gave the appearance he was putting Assad and Putin on notice, but really the only notice was the one put about sending missiles a couple of a day before he actually authorized the strike.

I don't think he, or his supporters, understand the difference between activity and productivity. The strike were very expensive and accomplished little. I agree with you, if we were sending a message of actual punishment, it should have been against a more valuable target.

Very similar to my view. Glad to see someone else gets it, especially after the apparently willfully dismissive responses from Trump supporters...which are getting downright weird at this point.

They take exception to Trump telling them the missiles were coming.

Oh the irony.

Well seeing as their information is not in anyway definite, I would have to side with the forces of the missile strike.

Its one thing to aim for a loss of life when you perfume a strike like that and its a completely different beast when you just aim for damaging infrastructure. Assad is most likely going to have more places to launch strike from. Just like Husain and even Netanyahu as well, so actually believing that you are stopping them completely is an asinine presumption.

That could also be the reason for the warning, which other presidents have given in the past as well. When you are just looking to destroy the infrastructure, we will usually give them enough time to ease out the loss of life.

Right wingers lost their minds when Obama did it. Now of course, its "different" :lamo

Clearly the Israelis didn't get the memo that the missile strikes were the best thing ever; no one in the history of missile launches has ever hit so accurately. We have the best missiles ever; only Americans can build missiles this good. Now that they have made their mark, Assad will step down as president and Russia will leave.

How many "warnings" does Assad/Putin get from Trump?

Not only was this strike mostly ineffective, Trump also canned the new Russian sanctions that were supposed to accompany the strike.

And no, Nikki Haley wasn't "confused". Trump punked out and once again cut his pal Putin a ton of undeserved slack.

All my time away to see dayforfreedom and I come back to this... great.

I would rather a president try to garner at least some good will with a nuclear superpower, instead of batting for WW3.

Weird that no one was named in this article. #FAKENEWS
