Republican congressman unloads on ‘mother****er’ Trump

I thought this might be yet another made up story, but it appears to be on lots of different sites. Try pasting "It’s like Forrest Gump won the presidency, but an evil" in your search window.

I'd bet a lot of Republican pols would agree. Trump is not doing the party any good.

The story is on Erickson's website, all the other sites point to it. All of which are bloggers.

Course that doesn't mean it's false or true. I guess the believability quotient is ones trust in Erick Erickson.

That is cowardice. The guy should step forward and say what he thinks publicly. If he hasnt got the guts to put his name behind his words, then I dont have to care what he has to say.

I'm not very comfortable with politicians cursing...

He probably reflects the classiness of his constituents. Or, maybe he's one of those outgoing swamp dwellers.

Not so much liberals as lefties!
(libs mentally or physically under age 18)

This isn't any kind of a diss but how old are YOU?

Disclaimer: I'm a 62 year old lifelong liberal.
No, not an IWW card carrying commie loving lefty, a blue collar labor union brother who grew up in the cradle of the Civil Rights era smack dab in the nation's capital liberal. I have some conservative views where they serve better and I didn't throw Arlo Guthrie overboard when he announced he was now a registered Republican. 0003-ThumbsUp.gif
But I inquire as to your age as an attempt to get a yardstick on your life experience.

PS: Don't be in too much of a rush to dismiss Maher. He does a damn good job condemning the ultra left because they desperately need it.
He's also responsible for this gem:

"Political correctness is the elevation of sensitivity over truth."

If you really want to know, Bill Maher has no trouble being friends with P.J. O'Rourke, do you know who HE is?

1) Why leave your lean disclosed on your profile
2) Old enough to know where this is going
3) I've seen hundreds of bill mahr's late night episodes

Before you try and dismiss my opinion for being under 30 -
How about I dismiss your opinion for being over 60 :p

I like the summation of Trump's presidency:

He wakes up in the morning, ****s all over Twitter, ****s all over us, ****s all over his staff, then hits golf balls.

Seems accurate.

I was just working out at the gym and I saw his recent Tweets to Russia, and I am just stunned. I can't believe a person twitting the **** he does is actually sitting in the White House.

I want to shake that person's hand. Never saw a more accurate assessment of the Trump Presidency than that.

Maybe he'll make himself public some day.

It makes me wonder who it could be.

If the coward exists, he should have the balls to say it out in the open and make his Momma proud. Despicable.

I said that it wasn't a diss, guess you're not convinced.
Oh well...

I don't leave my lean in my profile because signal to noise ratio in political forums is an occupational hazard.
You can dismiss my opinion if you like, if you're already informed as to what it is.
My generation is responsible for boomers who have created most of the mess we're in today, so my feelings won't be hurt if you don't value the opinion of someone over sixty. I've plenty of axes to grind with my peers.

Ronald Suskind was writing a New York Times piece on Dubya and found himself face to face with "an unnamed aide who wanted to keep it that way".
The exchange went like this:

The aide said that guys like me were 'in what we call the reality-based community,' which he defined as people who 'believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality.' [...] 'That's not the way the world really works anymore,' he continued. 'We're an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you're studying that reality—judiciously, as you will—we'll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that's how things will sort out. We're history's actors...and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do'.

The anonymous aide later was identified as Karl Rove.
(or as I like to say: Ralphie Wiggum all growed up)

It helps if you read his little diatribe above in Ralphie Wiggum's voice.

I tend not to agree or fully trust Erick Erickson. He's more trustworthy than most bloggers, but that is not saying much. What does give this article a bit of credibility is the extremely high percentage of GOP congress people who chose to retire after their current term.

Cute, but he’ll look back on his decision to remain anonymous and will see a life defined by cowardice.

Yep at the time when Republicans distancing themselves from the Trump years becomes fashionable I suspect that person will suddenly proclaim very loudly only then that they were the author.

Oh, good. Maybe all the other unsung heroes who anonymously claimed to be "deeply concerned" will unmask themselves as well.

Nah. If I was them, I'd stay anonymous.

We have a WINNER!
The Congressman who unleashed a torrent of profanity over Trump is most likely Representative Peter King!

How many anonymous sources has the left use, which tell them what they want to hear, which then turn out to be a scam? Anonymous source is another word for, fantasy sources, since you can't question them for verification. An anonymous source told me that the Democrats are using fake news to buy time to avoid prison. This is anonymous, so it has to be true?

The real problem is the Democrats are making cover for their own crimes, by accusing Trump, first, of the very things they did. For example, what ever happened to the anonymous sources that created the fantasy of Trump and Russian Collusion? Mueller, who i working for the left, has said he does not have any evidence to support this charge. This is why he is now digging for personal dirt to discredit Trump, since the anonymous source accusation of a real crime never panned out.

On the other hand, we do have direct evidence of Obama, on open microphone saying, "Tell Putin, I will have more flexibility after the election!" What did Obama mean? He implied that he had to lie to the American voters, to win the election, so tel Putin not to take it personally if you hear it on the news. We also know Obama and Hillary sold Russia uranium and that the Clinton foundation received $140 million for their help in the deal. These are the things the left wing leadership needs to cover up, to avoid jail time. These had been covered up but Trump threatens to reopens these cases. They make up anonymous sources, to set up a defense, by playing offense. The game is similar to one son breaks a window and then blames his brother, with an anonymous sources, that can't be verified, to avoid punishment by mom. It comes from the minds of criminals.

Go back the last year, and read all the anonymous sources used by the left. Enough time passed to be able to look at the facts and determine how many were based on real data, and how many told the left what they wanted to hear. Anonymous has a poor track record. Anyone with sound evidence, will make their identity known, since the left will pay a handsome price for anything, that can lead to getting rid of Trump. If the data is free, it is suspect.

ATLANTA, GA—An investigative report revealed Tuesday that CNN’s top anonymous source, who has leaked several high-profile stories in recent months, is actually a barista named Donna who works at a local Atlanta coffee shop frequented by network staff.

Several CNN reporters were seen over the last several months entering the cafe to get “the best latte in town,” and also hung around with Donna to see what new information she had picked up recently on any of the week’s hot-button political issues.

“Donna has been revealing all kinds of shocking pieces of information to her coffee shop customers,” one reporter said Tuesday as the story broke. “The talented barista quickly became one of CNN’s most prominent sources of information as they utilized hard-hitting journalistic methods.”

Donna also reportedly had encyclopedic knowledge of dozens of different types of coffee drinks served at the coffee shop, in addition to her juicy tidbits of information about the Trump administration.

At publishing time, sources had confirmed that Donna also managed to get several CNN contacts to sign up for a cafe rewards card during their clandestine meetings.

So basically you're saying that conjecture is better than anonymous sources, huh?

So someone sent a stinging note to former Fox News contributor and RedState editor Erick Erickson. Whoop-de-damn-do.
Erick Erickson held a Red State event that fell flat on its face during the nomination process when he disinvited Trump
to the event & in his place invited "Megyn Kelly' who refused to go. Whay a joke Erickson has become. I wouldn't be
surprised this creep Erickson made the story up all by himself since he's pissed that his career has gone downhill ever since
that embarrassing event three years ago.
