Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg got gussied up Monday in a dark suit and gray tie to deliver his mea culpa to Congress over a series of screw-ups, including spreading fake news, leaking private data and aiding Russia’s influence over the 2016 presidential election.

The Harvard dropout sugar-coated the apology by touting the website as an “idealistic and optimistic company” that has helped raise money for disaster relief and propel the #MeToo and March for Our Lives movements.

Yes, but did he cop to the fact that his company was also using its power to silence the voices of conservative users and speakers?

I doubt it.

At this point zuckerberg is a rat, who is just in it for his own gain and the veneer we see is just a show.

Even if he was (which he wasn't) so what? It is a private company. Given all the crap that was posted about Hillary during the run-up to the election on Facebook pretty much shows your claim is bull****.

Facebook is reconsidering classifying videos produced by Diamond and Silk, two of President Donald Trump's most ardent supporters, as "unsafe to the community" after the dynamic duo went on Fox News' morning show asking why the embattled social media giant had labeled them as such.

In a statement to Fox News, a Facebook spokesperson said: "We have communicated directly with Diamond And Silk about this issue. The message they received last week was inaccurate and not reflective of the way we communicate with our community and the people who run Pages on our platform. We have provided them with more information about our policies and the tools that are applicable to their Page and look forward to the opportunity to speak with them."

After watching most of the farce and the manner in which he handled the bloodsuckers questions I have a new appreciation for Mark Zuckerberg

Not actually BS from what we can see the company is doing now. Then again, maybe its just the ability to actually recognize discrimination when it shows up.

Actually not a conservative, but nice try.

I do have conservative views though not many. My views are actually more liberal then that. Though I would really be remised to actually associate myself with that party for the time being.

One of the reasons I can at least call out and inequality when I see it.

You aren’t calling out inequality because like most in congress you have no idea how Facebook actually works. There is no inequality and videos from conservatives are allowed to be seen.

My brother got banned for posting a picture of his MAGA hate and they labeled it as breaking their guidelines. While I am still waiting on my ban from last year to be removed. All I did was post my review of Hillary's book.
No crude language, no nothing that would break their guidelines and it still got me banned.

Its funny, I thought they were calling Trump the fascist.
So much for them being a neutral public platform.

Now we know you’re lying. No one got banned for wearing a MAGA hat nor did they get banned for a ”review” of Hillary’s book if there was no swearing or crude remarks. You’re dismissed as I’m not even going to buy that BS. If that happened you would be posting the text Facebook sent you. Pathetic
