CHINA’S president Xi has made a terrifying threat that he is will to start World War 3 if anyone attempts to “split” the country during a nationalist speech on Tuesday, it has been reported.

The Chinese despot said his country is ready to fight “the bloody battle” to regain its rightful place in the world as he capped off an address at an annual session of the National People's Congress which paved the way for him to be president for life.

Just days after President Donald Trump signed new rules to allow top-level US officials to travel to Taiwan, Xi said Beijing would defend is "one China principle”, which sees Taiwan as a territory ready for reunification.

Trump will be the US POTUS that presides over WWIII; I have predicted this here @ DP & I have stated it will occur by the end of April, 2018 ............

............. that's about 40 days ................. maximum .............. get on your bucket lists folks ................... time = running out .............
 
I fully support standing with Taiwan, it’s freedom from tyrannical China and it’s hopefully one day independence.

But Trump better know what he’s doing by prodding this hornets nest, China is incredibly, monumentally sensitive about this subject... Oh wait, he doesn’t know what he’s doing.

Well we’ll see what happens, if his policy bolsters Taiwan’s sovereignty, I will praise it, but if he miscalculates anything and his policy causes a crisis that he completely ****s up, well... buckle up guys.

Lorenzana, in a television interview, said that the military has been sending naval patrols of the country's territory from time to time.

The last several years the US has been playing nice with Vietnam out of mutual need, which is basically a free South China Sea. There was talk of opening the port in Cam Ranh to US Navy vessels. I don't know that that has happened. I do know that very recently the USS Carl Vinson made port in Da Nang. That was not by accident.

Negotiations have been going on for a few years, pre-Trump. Whatever has occurred as a result likely has little to do with Trump.

China seems to be challenging longstanding understandings in that neck of the woods. Perhaps its not a bad idea for the USA to follow that lead.

Pretty soon, Iran will be demanding the same thing of Israel. China’s dictator should tell California they will send soybeans and hogs to China, but only them.

The main impasse is a China dumping to kill strategic industries, and stealing technology by requiring “partnerships” or outright theft.

That’s worth a lot more than a few pissed off farmers. China does not dictate US foreign policy and it doesn’t tell us who our friends will be.

I thought that was Russia...

I have heard that Trump sees China, and not Russia, as the USA's great strategic foe. It could explain his N Korea policy and with Taiwan-- hitting China's weak spots.

Indeed. I agree. China has made illegal claims to international water and more in the South China Sea.
 
Sooner or later the world will be dealing with China's aggressiveness.

Do we do it now or later when it is much stronger?
