Washington Post editorial board warns Trump: No one is above the law, not even the president

57% of America thinks Trump is unfit to be President. That is not an approval number, that is the percentage of Americans that think he is incompetent. Stop blaming the press for the sediment of the substantial majority of Americans. Its time to have a little respect for America, American democracy and the hopes and dreams of your fellow Americans.
And the alleged 57% don't get the information to make that decision from the MSM? It just comes to them like a bolt of lightning?

I realize that you have trust issues, but you have a choice about what information you want to consume - or not.

The issue is that the fake media and gigantic invasive government are natural allies. When government is the only rudder that steers our ships we have an over-arching concern over how badly they are mismanaging our lives.

This helps them sell two bit fake prescription drugs to demented souls for a hundred bucks for just another worthless pill and the million-dollar-a-week anchors love it up.

Trump has broken this unholy alliance, for instance the white house press corp expects to ride in style on Airforce-1 slopping down Johnnie Walker Blue Labels (they don't serve bar scotch on AF-1) and to be treated like royalty by the government. It's "I'll scratch your back, you scratch mine"

We Trump voters are onto them.

Only 57%? The fake media must be loafing on the job.

Washington Post editorial board warns Trump: No one is above the law, not even the president | TheHill

The Washington Post editorial board wrote a scathing response to President Trump’s celebration over the the ouster of former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe, calling Trump a “nasty, small-minded despot.”

Trump took to Twitter early Saturday to celebrate McCabe being fired after over 20 years at the bureau, claiming it was a “great day for the hard working men and women of the FBI - a great day for democracy.”

I like the ring of 'nasty, small-minded despot.' It's seems very appropriate.

No, they wrote a desperately partisan hit piece void of facts to pander to their readers, who apparently pay good money for nonsense like that

No you've just dumped their garbage here

They got one thing right, no one is above the law. Not even Andrew McCabe, Bruce Ohr, Peter Sztrok, James Comey, James Baker....etc, etc

Hell, even Adam Schiff has come out and claimed McCabe's firing was justified.

I answered your question and I see you did not like the answer.
All you moderates who fence straddled only see our President as incompetent.
Complaints about him isn't going to change anything. Our President will continue to make progress despite the squeaks made about him.
He's making our country great. Let him be.
I'm done.

I surely dont see progress being made other than adding trillions to our national debt. Yes, he is totally incompetent. He knows nothing, has no interest in learning, just taking credit for what others have done.

What do you prefer? Enlighten us, direct us to something superior to the Post's editorials and/or reporting.:

I am bewildered by your dismissive tone.

I'm not, its the standard Trump supporter, no facts, no rational, no reasoning, no intelligence. Just deflection.

He's not 'better'. He's 'different'.
He'll fire anybody, Its what he does.

Over and over we see people write "Of course those idiot Trump supporters will give him a pass."
And ya...they will. Its a reflection of just how sickening the American Democratic Experiment has gotten. And lets not play favorites here...Canada, England, France Germany...we've all got our issues with 'dirty politics'. Slimy politicians. But US politics...lol...man the story, the rage, the abject stupidity, is hard to match. Americans, on both sides of their political swamp, want it cleaned up. Yet another reason Hillary-Billary lost. It likely takes a personality that a bit...off...to try to drain the swamp.

I'm not sure you've noticed yet, but its Republicans who are losing their jobs.

But ya...even the religious gawd-freaks love Trump. Not because he's some figure of religious piety, but because he will apparently flip-off anybody. Man just how much anger do you think the bible-thumpers must have for Washington, that they would deny their own religions, to watch their president flip-off anybody and everybody?

I would think a good American, would right about now be wondering how this swamp can be drained, without all the sensationalism?
And interestingly enough...that might not be possible.

I frankly see NO swamp draining.

In fact, the money that pollutes our democracy now sits in the executive branch.

They got a guy that more than anything wants to be accepted by the other rich people in the white house.

And they're getting everything they want.

"Drain the swamp"my ass.

Oh irony. The FBI's investigative offices determined McCabe had violated the terms of his federal service and should be fired...and the rabid hate filled anti-Trump leftists shriek TRRRRRUUUUMMMMMMMPPPPPPP!!!!! No one is above the law! Except the people we agree with! You know...the ones covered in **** that have been caught lying and colluding with the DNC to first sway then overturn the results of an election.

Really? Do you think Hillary-Billary will ever be able to run for office again?
How about the Republicans who have been 'exposed' or even charged? Do you think their political careers are over now?
Its now been found that the Obama admin knew about Russian efforts to sway the electorate years ago...and did nothing.
Shall we commence to slagging Barry now? Maybe drain the swamp of all those who knew this happened and did nothing?
Oh I know...lets all scream that Obama is a traitor. Maybe charge him with 'obstruction'.

I told you chaotic people a long time ago...'Be care what you ask for.'

There was a time when the opinion of the Washington Post editorial board meant something. This feud with the president is making them loose what credibility they have left. Why can't they just report the news?

I have a feeling the Washington Post and a lot of Democrat congressmen are going to regret their support of McCabe when the audit report comes out. He was already on leave for months. I don't think they would have fired him, at this point, if there wasn't a big issue.

Whole world's broke, it ain't worth fixing.

History is just a repetition of a pattern.

Those at the top consolidate wealth and power until their actions make life untenable for the masses and those masses force them to stop.

We are overdue.

so they have evidence that he broke the law?
over a year and still nothing that implicates him in anything.

it is a great day. Comey and Mccabe both acted unethically in their dealings.
they knew better and chose political expediency over their jobs. it caught up with them
and they got fired as they should have been.

/thread.

THEN LET DONNY-BOY DO HIS WORST! Nobody else is in a position to do this. Its going to be painful. But if you want a return to government of the people, for the people, than this 'blood-letting' is necessary.

Honestly, what I see is an emotionally dysfunctional individual who needs the acceptance of his "peers" even more than he needs that of his followers.

And he is doing and will continue to do anything he thinks will make the other rich people like him.

And lie to our faces about it the whole time.

Agreed. Not terribly stable.

No. This is just not true. He's helped some rich, and trashed others. The free trade negotiations prove that clearly.

Its the wall street guys that are the problem, for the most part.

As far as I can tell they're ****ting in high cotton right now.

Lip service from WaPo. Most elected officials are above the law. They lie to Congress, they lie to the public and nobody is even charged, must less penalized. Elected officials take the country to war under fraud, torture and commit military aggression and the Justice Department does nothing.

WaPo serves the corporate propaganda agenda, nothing more. The days of "The Post" and conscientious journalism (mainstream) are long gone.
