Shocking... really.

In short, like with every protest in the history of protesting, there will always be those few who go overboard and cross the line.

Reporter: Why would you do this, young man?

Student: Well, see, we're gettin' used. Due to our lack of life experience, critical thinking skills and philosophical education, we don't really know squat. I'm pretty sure everyone over 30 knows this. So, what are we to do? I'll tell ya. We get time off from school via 'walk outs' and we steal stuff. That way we get something out of this.

Reporter: Shouldn't changing the country, the future, be what you get out of this?

Student: Oh, that's my job now? Buy me some beer.

Well, when you take a dog off its collar, you can expect it to **** in your neighbor's yard.

HS students committing petty crimes and being assholes is not at all shocking. Why on Earth create a thread about it?

Why create any thread on DP that isn't trashing Trump? Why would you want that?

What?

How many Trump-bashing threads have I created?

And why do you want me to be the new subject of the thread?

Well if it's not a Trump bashing thread, you seem to be annoyed, I'll only start those now. Just for you.

I'll ask just the one more time: what the hell is political about some idiot HS students being idiot assholes in one particular Walmart?

You went out of your way to mention that this had something to do with gun control protests following yet another mass slaughter of students at school, but you didn't spell the link out. Would you care to stop talking about me personally and explain what the link is supposed to be?

What does one thing have to do with the other? Did they smash glass displays in the gun section or something? It doesn't look like that. It looks like they were just hyped up ****heads. HS students, in other words.

What does this have to do with anything?

People you say lack decision making skills should be helping to shape gun legislation? That is some flawed thinking.

This is a strange combination of twisting my words and putting words into my mouth. There's also a whopping dose of obfuscation mixed in, seeing as I was criticizing Renae's attempted link between (a) protests about firearm legislation and (b) the fact that one set of students, in one city, were dicks in one Walmart.

Why would you do such a thing? It certainly isn't conducive to useful discourse?

One could say that young people (millions more than these few pointed out by the op) are asking those in charge to do something about a massive problem, which to date has been ignored and prayed about. Are they not entitled to do so?

Between the surveillance video at Walmart and knowing what school they attend it should be exceptionally easy to identify them.

I, for one, am grateful to these kids. I mean, I was starting to think "Dang, that day went off without a hitch! What the heck are the alt-right fanatics going to cherry pick in order to invalidate the entire action now??" Thank goodness for these kids, they really helped them dodge a bullet, and they'll be able to sleep tonight.

Thank you, teenaged idiots, for giving the alt-right hope. Thank you.

This likely had little or nothing to do with a protest and everything to do with delinquents left without adult supervision.

It was sadly foreseeable, of course; selective demonization of the other to further a political cause.

"oh look, some criminals blended in with BLM protests and burned/stole stuff. BLM IS EVIL!"

"oh look, some muslims committed evil terrorist acts. MUSLIMS ARE BAD!"

yadda ****ing yadda.

Why create many threads about similar youth demanding gun bans? It seems that when kids do stuff that one likes or dislikes it is deemed important.

I raise: 5x the last bet.

Answer: because they're voting within 1 day to 2 years. They've been affected more severely than just about everyone else who weighs in on gun control.

That is relevant.

That a few of them were dicks in a Walmart is not similarly relevant to the issue.

That is true if, and only if, someone cares to do so. Many seem reluctant to charge anyone with a first offense and then express shock at the lack of respect for law and order. I doubt that we will see the results of any criminal charges in the news.

Ahhh.... juvies get charged with all sorts of stuff. It's not quite my area, but I've got friends who deal with some of those cases. If the relevant DA's office doesn't bother, it's more because they have a whole host of other things they want to devote resources to.

(This might be alleviated by doing things like converting stuff that's a civil infraction in Europe but a misdemeanor here into civil infrations /w fines - disorderly, peeing on an outdoor bar's wall, etc)

Hardly, "teens" is ebonics for "nigglets"

They need to bill the rocket scientists who organized this nigglet romp.

You really should have gone ahead and used 'sambo' ink for this crap post!

Blue, really?
