Get some education on the Korean issue as a whole. Lil Kim's leverage isn't nukes, it's artillery batteries loaded with chemical weapons that are aimed at Seoul.

IF there is a meeting, it will most likely be in S. Korea and PRes. Trump will present Lil Kim to the cheering mobs, not the other way around.

South Korea is still Korea, and Kim's eye is always on the prize, getting the US to withdraw from South Korea. There'll be no 'denukeing' of North Korea without a US withdrawal. This is Kim's big play and he's been getting things in line for years. Hell, he even played the Olympics as a piece on this board.
If Trump thinks he's dealing from strength because of his name or his nationality he's lost before the game begins.

I doubt this could happen without Chinese approval. The MSM sure has egg on their faces after claiming Trump calling Kim names
may lead to nuclear war. After all the efforts through the years to make something like this happen, it's happening. Trump won't get
punked like Clinton did & I doubt he'll provides the billions Clinton did to make a deal.

This won't be Bush meeting with his father the then North Korean leadert in Washington nor Madeleine Albright appeasing him
visited Pyongyang in October 2000. This is Trump dealing with them now.

Trump has accomplished much in his first year but I still think it's too early to rank him in the Top 5. Let's face it after 16 years
of Bush #2 & Obama even mediocre presidents like Ford or Cater following those guys would look special. But if his next 3 years
are a continuation of his first years successes both at home & abroad you might be on to something.

And if that's the case when the chisels start carving again on the granite rock of South Dakota, thanks to Trump the carving tools
will be forged with American steel.

He is dealing in strength because many South Koreans want the US Military to withdraw...They are the ones that set this up, and have the most to lose if the US and North Korea go to war

It would be, because it's impossible.

NK has already achieved a launch vehicle capable of making it to the US mainland, and they probably have the technology for one to survive reentry too. No, they can't wipe us out or anything, but they already met their goals.

This is just a ruse to get the sanctions lifted, and Trump is going to go along with it so he can win the news cycle.

Exactly.

Kim has won the battle in all sense of the word. He tested missiles over SK and Japan, and nothing happened. His missiles are now achieving distances that could be set on orbital paths to reach the US, and nothing happened. Then he conducted several nuclear tests to achieve a war capable of delivery on an ICBM, and nothing happened.

There is no putting the genie back in the bottle, but Trump and his supporters are too foolish to see it.

You have to understand who Trump is and his calculus, his constitution.

He's from Queens. The guy was born a fighter and hard worker. His father was a hard worker. He got his relentless work ethic from his father. Have you noticed, Trump only sleeps 3-5 hours a night? Trump loves to work. I remember hearing stories when he worked for his dad he would wake up at 6 am and work on the ground level.

I believe Kim Jong Un has the same work ethic. Not to go completely off subject, but have you noticed most Koreans have very strong work ethics? Even the lazy Koreans are hard workers. Those North Koreans are hard workers. Kim Jong Un can respect that about Trump. Not that they are comparable however I feel he respects Trump.

I am unsure you understand the ideology of NK.

The practice of Juche prevents NK from relying on any support from the "Yankees."

Kim Jong Un is essentially throwing the white towel. It is shameful based on NK ideology to even think about working out a deal with the United States.

Perhaps Trump has gotten through the NK Leader with his tough talk and firm tweets. Truly an epic accomplishment from Trump. Even more impressive to how Reagan dealt with the Soviets.
