Trump Blames Congress for Investigating Russia, not Russia!

They are laughing their asses off in Moscow. They're laughing at the Liberals.

Они смеются над полезными идиотами с обеих сторон, товарищ.

Putin is guily of much, but proving it is anoher matter. Even what you can prove, what good would an indicment of a foreign leader do? Also, were our justice department to make such a move, I would hope it would be for something more compelling than election interference. We shouldn't show our tacit approval by doing nothing though, which seems to be the current stance.

Thank you for a reasonable post. You have more faith in our Just Us Department than I do, but that is your choice.

I would ask the same question you do: what good would an indictment of 13 Russian citizens do? They will not be extradited, and of course Putin would not have been extradited had he been indicted. Indeed, we have been seeing political theater for the last year, and the indictment proves it.

Though it made the MSM, but then was quickly swept under the rug, the tapes of Michael Flynn showed the Russians rejecting the US/Trump request regarding a pro-Israeli UN vote, and the indictment does not say a word about that.

What would you do if you were POTUS for a day?

No they are laughing at the treasonous trump supporters. Trump and trump supporters are undermining this country with every day and are enemies of America. Russia is laughing at the fact the president and his supporters are doing more damage to the US than Russia ever could.

Nail head, meet hammer!

Wonder if he has figured it out yet?

Here we go with the usual failure to comprehend from the Trump haters...

Trump isn't "blaming Congress". Trump is showing how the Russians may have succeeded.

Yes with the assistance of trump, his family, and his staff filled with Russian collaboratives.

I happy to hear you finally admit that trump was not legitimately elected and we have a foreign agent in the oval office.

That must have been hard for you...

"...I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign or domestic..."

Does anyone believe Trump is living up to his duty?

Have you any reason to believe that POTUS or any individual in Congress is honoring that oath of office? I do not, though there are a few good individuals in Congress who leave disgusted after 1 term.

Of course, while THIS POTUS is not, former presidents did. Many MoC are honoring their office oath -- especially those that view their position as a check on the president.

I thought it was against the rules to post in a foreign language? Or am I thinking of another site?

My bet is that if you were to make of list going back to 1950 for example, of POTUS who have honored their oath of office, it would be a pretty short list. I would soften my criticism by noting that I cannot expect perfection from any human being, but the fact remains that the US Constitution has been assaulted any number of ways by both POTUS and Congress.

For example, Russ Feingold was the only member of the Senate that voted against the travesty of the Patriot Act, and Barbara Boxer was the only person in the House to vote against the sophistry of the AUMF.

It is against the rules.

Since it was Russian, I am hoping for a pardon from Comrade Trump.

[FONT="]If it was the GOAL of Russia to create discord, disruption and chaos within the U.S. then, with all of the Committee Hearings, Investigations and Party hatred, they have succeeded beyond their wildest dreams. They are laughing their asses off in Moscow. Get smart America!

You actually couldn't make this up! Congress is the guilty party for investigating, but the Russian undermining of US democracy is only to be expected! Is that not an extraordinary statement for anyone to make, let alone a US President?

I would not blame them for investigating the Russia issue. They poke their noses into our politics as much as we do with them. Year in and year out, but the amount of time that congress has wasted on such a red haring at this point is pretty laughable.

But he has gotten flak for calling **** out in the past as well.. so.. par for the course I guess.
