Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, already indicted on charges of money laundering and failing to register as a foreign agent in the ongoing Russia probe, has been accused of bank fraud in new court documents. The “additional criminal conduct” came to light in a new bail package Manafort submitted in a bid to change his bail conditions, prosecutors said in a filing released Friday. Manafort allegedly submitted false information including “doctored profit and lost statements” to Federal Savings Bank to secure a $9 million mortgage on a property in Fairfax, Virginia he is now trying to pledge as security for his release.

We have no idea if Manafort if guilty actions are related to Trump. Let’s not jump the gun we are so ready to do so..
 
I'm not going be shy about this, Manafort is 100% guilty, that's why Trump sacked him when he did, because Manafort is a liability and will only get in the way of real issues.

As much as I dislike Trump, it has yet to be determined if this will eventually impact Trump. But there is that distinct possibility. It sounds to me, the feds are trying to revoke Manafort's house-arrest bail provision, and make him chill behind bars.

That indeed, could give him more impetus to cooperate.

Manafort has had many opportunities to observe & participate, if Trump did any dirty deals.

You don't know that. You don't know what Mueller knows, or what Manafort can offer him.

It remains to be seen.
 
So, there were three Russian agents out there accused of everything from unwitting espionage to wire fraud, and all of them found their way into Trumps campaign. :doh

How about instead "drain the swamp!" we "flush the turds!" instead?

I suspect that Mueller wants is information about 'what actually happened in Trump Towers', and then target Jr.

Ok, lets think about that for a moment. Lets say Manafort knows where all the bodies are buried when it comes to Trump. Why would he cooperate with Mueller and turn on the one guy who could pardon him?
