How ICE Works to Strip Citizenship from Naturalized Americans

Don't care. They were here first. No immigration ever, so they're the only ones who get to stay. Sound good?

It's a close call. How about South America, Mexico, Canada & Central America they were there first too,
what should they do in those countries?

The same.

Anyone who benefits from immigration and then demands the door be slammed shut behind them should learn what it means. Kick everyone out who wasn't native, and start over with this "extreme vetting" system everyone is demanding. 300 million people trying to get back home to a country that only lets in a few thousand a year.

Despite whatever knee-jerk reactions you might have had to that headline, this isn't a Trump problem, or even an ICE problem. The US Court system, as it currently stands, is a bureaucratic nightmare that exists, not to ensure that justice is provided to American citizens, but to **** you and your family with the long dick of the law as hard as it possibly can. Much like our gigantic prison population, the 90% of court cases that never make it to trial, & our 77% recidivism rate, ICE illegally hiding an internal handbook for the purpose of rigging trials is merely a symptom of how we approach criminal justice as a culture and a society, combined with draconian legislation.
My limited understanding is that people applying for US Citizenship are required to fill out a sworn affidavit attesting to whether or not they ever committed a crime, be it one they were arrested for or not. The idea being, if you answer yes, you disclose it. If you answer no, you either never committed a crime or you lied.

I have no problem with people who lied in their affidavit being stripped of citizenship, assuming the lie is not some frivolous crap like they smoked pot or drove drunk a few times but still wrote no. Rather, I see it as a useful tool for, say, a hit and run driver or a rapist or other violent felon, who was not yet arrested for his crimes at the time of his application for Citizenship, a criminal who may then be stripped and deported upon conviction.

Of course, all crimes committed after obtaining US Citizenship are exempt.
