The suspect in Saturday's shootings -- identified by Carancini as Luca Traini, 28 -- was apprehended by police while making a fascist salute in front of a monument to war victims. A gun was found in his car.

According to election records, Traini had been a candidate in the nearby town of Corridonia for the anti-immigration Northern League party in the 2017 local elections but received no votes.
Luckily no one was killed by this nazi tattooed right-wing psycho.

Yes, random shootings often turn out much worse. Good thing no one died.

This kind of thing is escalating in Italy -- in this specific incident -- the shooter was (they claim) responding to the incident of a migrant who had just been arrested for killing an 18-yr. old girl (Pamela Mastropietro) and chopping her body into pieces -- packing it into two suitcases. Her murdered (Innocent Oseghale), is a Nigerian immigrant who was denied asylum last year but he didn't leave Italy. An illegal immigrant.

It's always wrong to take the law into your own hands and start shooting at folks, willy-nilly, but it is also wrong to upset the lives of the inhabitants of the country to such an extent that this type of culture shock is occurring.

Italy is one of the nations that is actively trying to deport (resettle) more migrants, but it's slow going because no one wants to take them. We'll likely see more of this culture shock until they're able to get it under control.

Sorry, you are completely wrong here. Germany and Italy were under pressure from the EU's European Commission Action Plan to step up and do more.

They were the laggards in deporting illegal immigrants from Nigeria, China, Albania, Ukraine, Tunisia etc

Further, as of 2016 there are also fast track agreements between Italy and Nigeria to get illegals back as quickly as possible.

Good that they caught the guy. Hope they drop a big ass hammer on him.

The shootings happened just days after a Nigerian migrant was arrested in connection with the death of an 18-year-old Italian woman, whose dismembered body was discovered stuffed into two suitcases near Macerata.

League leader Matteo Salvini distanced himself from the shooting, but blamed mass immigration for the tensions.
“I can’t wait to get into government to restore security, social justice and serenity to Italy,” he told reporters

There is nothing to understand. His actions were wrong. No ifs, buts or maybes. It's not okay to deliberately target and shoot random civilians.

Seriously? Do I get you right, that you understand how this Nazi would kill random people?

He understands that the man tried to kill people to "restore security, social justice and serenity to Italy."
It's a reason, but a really poor one.

Yeah. I can tell you're clutching your pearls so tightly that it could cause them to shatter. Take a deep breath.

Attempted mass murder by a nazi doesn't happen every day. yet it barely made the papers let alone TV in Britain.

That's it? That's what you got? Why did you bother?
Better question, maybe, is why did I bother.

Yes why did you bother? In no way shape or form did I endorse murdering anyone, and by the way your efforts to make it seem like a Nazi going on a killing spree is somehow worse than anyone else going on a killing spree is particularly disgusting. Mass murder is always a bad thing in my book, unlike you who appears to only think mass murder is bad in certain circumstances.

Then why did you say you understood the shooter?

As opposed to...
I TRIED TO KILL THOSE PEOPLE TO TURN CAMELS INTO MEAT EATERS AND THEN RIDE MY MEAT EATING CAMEL INTO BACON HEAVEN
That would be something I don't understand. Another thing I don't understand is why you seemed to show the awareness that I understood the shooter previously and now you're confused. Unless you're yet another leftists who's virtue signalling to the audience in your own personal performance piece.

All the "OMG IT'S A NAZI" is more feigned outrage from leftist. The disgusting part is the shooting, not the "OMG IT WAS A NAZI". Because if it wasn't done by a NAZI then most of the leftists wouldn't give a ****, and this is born out by how this thread has progressed.

Look at the centrists and the slightly liberal who commented in this thread. The fact that it was done by a NAZI is completely irrelevant to the fact that this crime was heinous.

Point taken.

I thought no one in Europe had guns and they had no gun crime?

Oh, so it's the Nigerians' fault for existing and "upsetting" the local fascists. Boo ****ing hoo. Maybe if the locals weren't such frothing at the mouth loony tunes that they feel the need to murder random innocent people for "revenge" they wouldn't be so upset all the time.

I didn't assign any "fault" to the Nigerian. I simply explained the atmosphere and the fallout from the heavy migration.

There's a culture clash going on there -- ignoring it doesn't help anyone.

The “culture clash”.....,by which you mean the locals being upset that the Nigerians exist, because try as I might I can’t seem to find any cultural faux pas this guy might have committed which would require him to be murdered for doing absolutely nothing wrong.

If the locals are going to start murdering random people, all that means I’d ghat it’s time for the local police to start cracking down hard on them.

I don't believe that's the crux of the culture clash, but some may feel that way. What has been cited is an increased rate of crime that's been connected to the migrants. Obviously, it's not fair to judge all the migrants by the crimes of a few, but that's something people have a tough time accepting.

Reuters published last year that the higher incidence of rapes being committed by migrants is fueling much of the anti-immigrant sentiment.

And, in the OP case, it appears the man who went on a shooting spree (which was wrong to do) was incited by the case of the rape, murder, and mutilation of a young 18 year old Italian girl by an immigrant. So, you can see there are problems. Dealing with those problems isn't always easy.

Anytime crime increases, law enforcement needs to step up -- but if you want the police to start "cracking down hard" on the locals because one nut went on a shooting spree, do you also want the police to crack down hard on the immigrants because a handful have been raping Italian women?

That sentiment goes both ways my friend.

Which is why those many people who think it’s justified to murder random people in the streets need to be smashed, completely and utterly. It’s not even a “cultural clash”; it’s thugs preying on decent people and counting on their skin color and Italian history to keep them safe.

Gee, what a shock. Out of a huge number of people, a handful turn out to be criminals, and news sources turn that into an epidemic to make money on the outraged bigots who are upset foreign criminals are taking the jobs of the local criminals. Boo ****ing hoo. Cry me a river.

What a joke. People who are willing to murder random strangers don’t care about that; that’s a convienent excuse to play to public opinion and present the fascists as “just defending Italy’s honor” or some bull crap. Where are these killers when a native born Italian commits a crime? Answer: nowhere, because they don’t care about the crime . They just want an excuse to shoot those they consider subhuman.

Who are those people? The "many" people you say think it's "justified" to murder random people in the streets? As far as I know -- there's been ONE drive-by shooting.

You're obviously taking this too literally. As you say -- "out of a huge number of people, a handful turn out to be criminals." Don't you realize that also goes for the man who did the drive-by shooting? Out of all Italians, one did a drive-by shooting.

What a joke. Again, you're blowing it WAY out of proportion. One Italian shot an innocent migrant. That one Italian has been arrested and charged with murder.

I believe the migrant who murdered and mutilated the girl has also been arrested and charged with murder.

See how that works the same for both?

I don't see anyone getting away with their crimes, do you? I do, however, see angry Italians who are now taking steps to restrict further migrants and also remove some who are there from the country. Not kill them, mind you.
