The only thing I can hope for is that Trump and his fan base can respond to these comments from a double amputee combat veteran better than they have with surviving family of combat veterans, and POWs.

With all due respect to her she is not lecturing to Trump, but to his staff, some of whom are respected military planners far more aware of the world issues confronting the military.

Would you turn over the management of a major airline to one of its line pilots? Not me.

I winder how far she expects to get insulting Americans who were eager to serve in the military, but were medically disqualified; most for a problem they didn't even know they had.

That reminds me of the high school football hero that I knew when I enlisted who was medically rejected because of an epileptic siezure that turned to be acquired epilepsy. Turns out, the hits he took playing football led to the acquired epilepsy.

So yeah, good luck with this one. :lamo

We"re all very proud of both of our Senators from Illinois, with Sen. Duckworth slamming back at the despicable attempt of trump, mcconnell, and ryan to playing their fake and failing 'Nixonian military' card.

Add to that holding CHIP hostage in this the 4th CR in 4 months, where CRs actually do harm the Military, according to the Military. And then there's no New relief for the disaster crises and the opioid crisis. These are real issues not in another CR.

No framework for a year-long budget, hurting the Military. Who's really hurting the Military here, especially considering the hatred trump has drummed up for our Military personnel around the World ?
