Comey agrees?

Anyone who deals with Trump in person should be allowed a body cam and a handheld digital recorder.

Why no matter what the evidence proves he will still repeatedly say " it never happened".

The really sad part is I think he actually believes it when he says it.

Sounds like Durbin has pitched himself into a tight spot, is looking for a way out.

LOL Trump golfs while a Govt. shutdown looms because he rejected a bipartisan DACA deal he said he would support and you think Durbin is in a tight spot. Comedy gold.

No one but a Trumpanzee would doubt Durbin's account. Trump even bragged about it afterwards to friends.

A conservative columnist said President Trump called friends to brag after the meeting in which the president reportedly referred to Haiti, El Salvador and African nations as "****hole countries."

"It’s weird that people in the room don’t remember Trump using that word when Trump himself was calling friends to brag about it afterwards," Erick Erickson, who has in the past been critical of Trump, said in a tweet.

"I spoke to one of those friends. The President thought it would play well with the base.

By requesting gold standard disproof? He's lying but seeking a way out by requesting release of any recordings hoping they don't exist?

:lamo

You can't make that inference anymore than that he's requesting them in the hope they exist. Trump has rambled about maybe recording things quite a few times now.

Actually the tape backs Trump up, it sound like he says "I'd"

Unlike nearly everything else we debate, this has, to use Anagram's words, a "reachable truth" unlike everything else we debate here on a daily basis. When the audio in that recording is slowed down, there is zero question that it's "I" and not "I'd." The fact that there is a recording, that the recording can be slowed down by free software accessible to everybody on the internet, and that trump supporters conclude that the recording contains what the recording very obviously does not contain, tells me that Rogue Valley's suggestion that "anyone who deals with Trump in person should be allowed a body cam and a handheld digital recorder" would have no positive impact on the truth. Trump supporters have finished constructing their new reality, and they ain't leaving it.

While your comment may not actually be on topic, it does point to the very real possibility that if the tape is released and Trump is clearly heard to be saying "****hole," his supporters will argue that that is not what is being said.

Not to me it doesn't. Your ears need cleaning.

"And I probably have a good relationship...."

"And I'd probably have a good relationship...."

I can hear it both ways, but I'm going with the second because "I'd" makes more sense with the word "probably" after it.

Considering that Im not a Trump supporter and never have been, your argument falls pretty flat.

The entire episode brings to mind that old classic, "Who you gonna' believe, me or your lyin' friggin' eyes?"

I, I'd.... whatever.

Whatever comes out that **** hole is gonna be a lie anyways so what matter does it make?

Uh huh. If you hear a slowed down recording of the audio and conclude "Yep, he said I'd," then that right there is the ultimate conclusion that you're a trump supporter.

My guess is he probably did say it.

But my question is, if there is a recording of it, it's released and shows that he did say it ---- then what?

Probably nothing, just lie number 2362, but who's counting?

The man that has told more lies than any President ever.

LOL! I love it when people say things like this.

Really? You have carefully and thoughtfully researched every single sentence every President has ever said and cross-referenced it with factual documents? Gosh, how long did that take you? :lamo

Sorry to not provide a link, but I forgot where I read it, but it seems some WH aides are claiming he actually said s***house, not s***hole, and that is the basis of the other 2 "senators" claiming He Did Not Say THAT.
