So far as I can tell, any time somebody challenges or refutes your argument qualifies as a "tantrum."

Where in that article does it support the statement that "Islamic movement" has sent Europe into "chaos," adding that cars and politicians were being burned inside the Netherlands."

This is where Americans should learn that what they have accepted as status quo in honesty is unacceptable in Canada and European countries. Parliamentary democracies are different, the leader of the country is accountable for every breath he or she takes. The people are used to getting answers and when we don't, we throw out the government.

IF they are not angered at being thought so stupid that **** works, they will laugh...but not in a kind way.

Oh, that makes everything better. The people of the Netherlands are certain to take that into consideration in their opinion of the ambassador and Americans generally.

Everything is OK with the right so long as "the left" are also blame worthy in some way. That's just lowering a standard that's already out of Limbo range. It would be hard to set the bar lower

It shouldn't be this way, but for the last few administrations Americans seem to view POTUS as rather royalty, a king. Some demand loyalty and respect towards men who trash the office of POTUS, constantly violating their oath of office. Maybe this is how it looks during the decline and fall???

None of that is new. If you study the FDR years through more than one or two biographies, you will see FDR wasn't only seen as sem-regal, but acted that way much of the time.

I have always found American's fascination with Thew Royal Family kind of odd if not hypocratic. And more interesting still that the US is the only democracy where the leader is hailed into the room with a march theme, just as middle ages kings were trumpeted in.

Even more interesting is the "Jeffersonian" resistance of anything royal, but Thomas would be the architect of the 'palace' in which the president dwells. The fact you call it the "White ""House"' is a nice way of accepting royal attachments while still hating monarchy.

Except no politicians were set alight by Muslims here, and maybe a Muslim burnt a car but guess what, that is what happens in cities all of the time (sadly) it has nothing to do with their faith nor has it to do with their ethnicity.

He also said there were no-go areas where non-Muslims didn't dare to show their face, also false.

So sorry to correct you but you are wrong, that that butthurt idiot Hoekstra thinks he knows better is his problem. he was just burned by the Dutch media and is the laughing stock for a lot of Dutch people (or should I say non-PVV supporters).

Also he was shown to be a big fat liar, claiming he did not say it, calling it fake news. At that point he was also burned by Dutch media for being a liar.

Trump is just the side issue in this story, the real issue is why a US ally has to be burdened with such an idiot as ambassador. John Adams stated that he only hoped that honest and wise people would be ambassador/living in that house in the Hague. Oooooppppps, sorry mr. Adams but Hoekstra is neither wise or honest.

Which had nothing to do with Jihadism but with country politics. Riots take place all the time, a jihadist riot not that common though. There may have been one but I cannot recall it.
