Some may be, but most things are negotiable. It could also just be a tactic for the US to get something else that it wants. By initially focusing on dairy and demanding changes, knowing Canada won't go for it, they may be setting up the negotiaitions to get something they really want. We'll have to see. I don't think all the cards are on the table yet.

Ah, the TOPIC was about US plans to give North Korea a "bloody nose" and compared that thinking with the barbaric "negotiating" tactics of the "**** hole" president.

I don't know about you, but I am more than OK with not being America's "best friend". From the way you treat friends, we need to cultivate some enemies.

Well, for once, I am going to side with Trump on an issue. Who benefits from NAFTA and other so-called free trade agreements? Corporations which offshore American jobs to countries where child slaves do the same work for peanuts.

In NAFTA talks NATO also needs to be brought up. Canada is another member state who thinks they can underfund their military because their southern neighbor has their back. Honestly they should be forced to meet their NATO obligations or pay the US A defense tax for relying on our military protection. Any NATO member should be treated as such, they are blatantly abusing the US in terms of defense and this is not fair.
