Someone Has Already Been Killed Because of Trump Dossier, Fusion GPS Revealed

That (bolded above) assertion is your take, and you are certainly welcome to it, but now those republicants can (and likely will) say that releasing such information could (and likely did) cost someone their life.

I don't think they can. You should read it, though its about 312 pages, i believe most if not all of the names that aren't already public are redacted.

I'm sure you're really working at it.

You should actually read it. I'm about halfway through and it's been pretty fascinating. Regarding this section, I think it was interesting that Simpson said what was reported was not really a "dossier", but rather memos written by Steele as part of his work. Additionally, I've read in other places the FBI already had information and that the Steele memos were not the only reason for a warrant, which would seem to, in part, corroborate reporting recently regarding Papadaupolous (sp?) and his interaction with Australian agents.

Again, I'm only halfway through it, but I've enjoyed it.

...are you claiming it is not true? Or what exactly are you trying to get at here?

FYI - a dossier is a collection of documents about a particular subject

The articles from a year ago DEBUNK the new narrative that tries " unsuccesfully " to minimize the dossiers influence in the investigation.
Well, that's stupid. Old information doesn't debunk new information, new information, assuming properly sourced and vetted, debunks old information.

You do understand how life works, yes?

CNN reported back in April the dossier was used to obtain FISA warrants. That it was used to bolster the investigation
And future reporting, including from CNN, has shown that to have not been accurate.

Why are you struggling with facts?

Fusion GPS wants to change the narrative ?
What are you talking about? The only thing I've seen is that they asked for their testimony to be made in full, which has happened.

Are you actually discussing reality right now? I don't mean that as an insult, I'm genuinely asking.

FYI - a dossier is a collection of documents about a particular subject
From the transcript:

Simpson said:
A. Correct. To be totally clear, you know, what people call the dossier is not really a dossier. It's a collection of field memoranda, of field interviews, a collection that accumulates over a period of months. You know, they came in intermittently, there was no schedule. You know, he'd reach a point in the reporting where he had enough to send a new memo; so he'd send one. So you won't find any real rhythm or chronological sort of system to the way they came in.

Lol !

CNN from April....

FBI used dossier to bolster Russia investigation and obtain FISA warrants

https://www.google.com/search?q=cnn...ms-tmobile-us&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8

Where did the FBI get their information on Carter Page ? Straight from the dossier

Mother Jones reported back in January that the FBIs responded to the allegations in the dossier with " shock and horror "

The Spy Who Wrote the Trump-Russia Memos: It Was “Hair-Raising” Stuff – Mother Jones

Shock and horror ? I thought they had know about Trumps contacts for months ?

Steele told Mother Jones that the FBI asked Steele to continue send them reports

Michael Isikoff September article is rife with allegations from the dossier and more specifically, about Carter Page allegations taken straight from the dossier
https://www.yahoo.com/news/u-s-inte...ween-trump-adviser-and-kremlin-175046002.html

The NYTs article that tries to minimize the dosssiers influence is a joke, so is Fusion GPSs oped.

Maybe if you keep reposing the same, irrelevant things in multiple threads, your story line will magically come true and people will FINALLY see things your way!

Simpson is wrong. A collection of memos, interview transcripts, etc is a dossier.

https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/dossier
My understanding of Simpson's testimony isn't that the memos aren't part of the dossier, but rather that the dossier included more than what is currently reported as the dossier. My understanding is that it is commonly reported that the memos which were posted to Buzzfeed is the dossier, but, as Simpson says, the "dossier" on this subject includes many more articles of information not included in the memos.

Perhaps I read what Simpson said wrong, but that's how I read it. In which case, Simpson wouldn't be wrong. Correct?

Yes, old information debunks new information when the new information is so obviously false, when its poorly constructed as a cover

The " new information " is that a drunk Popadopolis let slip information about Trump and Russians and thats what triggered the investigation, that it was the catalyst, not the dossier.

Thats BS, here's a NYTs article from April reporting that Carter Pages trip to Moscow was the catalyst for the investigation

https://mobile.nytimes.com/2017/04/...gin-story/?amp_js_v=0.1&usqp=mq331AQECAEYAQ==

The allegation against Page came from the dossier

Bruce Ohr who was Assistant Deputy AG under Obama was just demoted for a second time over his contacts with Christopher Steele and Glenn Simpson before the election

The idea that Fusion GPS has a shred of credibillity ia a joke

ahh, I see what you are getting at now. Thanks. I did not know that.

So sites like CNN want to cover up the information they reported in the first place.

I think that's the stupidest thing I've read today. Thanks.

That's not exactly accurate, but close enough I suppose to suggest you're aware of the report.

Says the person who is obviously spewing Republican propaganda.

They're likely desperate (and dumb) enough to try that, but they'll have a helluva time proving it. Which isn't something they've actually ever been interested in, in any case (3-5 MILLION illegals voted!!!)

And the person alleged to have been killed was done before the release of the transcripts.

It seems to me a lot of Russians who might have been involved in getting information to Steele suddenly had untimely demises.

Guess what...Nunes has the FBI documentation for the FISA request. Maybe you should wait till THAT is revealed before you insist on YOUR story.
Wow, you didn't mention Clinton's emails this time.

Lets both wait for the report that matters: Muellers.

Clinton's crap isn't what Nunes is looking at.

It's likely we'll never see Mueller's report.

See, this is why people want to pull their hair out after they argue with you. You just spew republican talking points and propaganda over and over again, ignoring any and all evidence that doesn't help your point.

You've got the REAL story, you've got it all figured out. Even after your theory is blown out of the water by concrete evidence, you'll stick to your guns anyways, like some religious fanatic arguing creationism.

IOW: I'll stick to my alternative conspiracy theory, regardless of the damn of evidence -- including any new evidence that comes to light.

It seems to me a lot of Russians who might have been involved in getting information to Steele suddenly had untimely demises.

That is, indeed, the case, but a lot of those who met early demises were simply enemies of Putin and his goons.

That is, indeed, the case, but a lot of those who met early demises were simply enemies of Putin and his goons.

And, there were several that were very potentially involved in passing information to Steele. I remember thinking 'Boy, Putin is pissed at the leak of information about the golden leaks' at the time.

So ... who got killed and who was the FBI's source (for what?) in the Trump camp?

If you read through the transcript you know that Obama's FBI told Christopher Steele, who at the time was conducting anti-Trump opposition research for Hillary Clintons campaign, that Trump and his campaign had ties to Russians

So Obama's FBI was feeding Hillary's oppo-research firm information while Steele's dossier was being used to obtain FISA warrants and while the dossier was being shopped out to media outlets

You would also know Glenn Simpson lied when he was asked if Fusion GPS had any employees at the time that spoke Russian.

Fusion GPS hired Nellie Ohr, the wife of Bruce Ohr. She spoke Russsian and was a expert on Russian affairs

The fact they retained her services shows they were focusing on the same narrative the FBI was using to justify surveillanc of the political oppostion.

This was the same narrative that was being spread by Media outlets like Yahoo, the NYTs, CNN and Mother Jones

Glenn Simpson testified that he told Steele that they were witnessing laws being broken, and he should contact the FBI
But in court documents, Steele was forced to admit the dossier was unsusbtantiated, and he's being sued and so is Fusion GPS and Buzzfeed for libel

Liberals were demanding the release of this testimony....Lol !

That's simply not true. It's pure Trumpist fantasy, worthy of Bannon.

Concrete evidence ? Youv'e offered nothing of the sort, niether did the other poster I was responding to.

I routinely post links to sources that back up my arguments, and you people never read them.
You just dismiss my post out of hand as " Republican talking points " without specifically addressing my points.

If your'e too partisan to read something that challenges your bias, then there's nothing I can do for you

Whats funny is the Simpson testimony hurt Fusion GPS and the Democrats far more than it did the Republicans and Trump

More to the point. Graham and Grassley falsely and maliciously publicly referred Steele for criminal investigation to mislead the American public. Honorable men would resign, having been shown to be liars.

I smell a developing smokescreen, a concerted effort to deflect attention away from Trump/Russia/Mueller.
