A New York cosmetics executive who publicly alleged Donald Trump sexually assaulted her in the 1990s repeatedly solicited the future president to become his campaign makeup artist and to pitch her new product line in the months before her story roiled the 2016 presidential race, according to the woman and her contemporaneous emails.

“Hi Donald, you are doing a tremendous job of shaking things up in the United States. I am definitely on Team Trump as so many others are,” Jill Harth wrote Trump in an Oct. 1, 2015, email sent to him through his New York company’s headquarters.

“I can’t watch television without seeing you or hearing your name everywhere! It’s a good thing for sure but PLEASE let me do your makeup for a television interview, a debate, a photo session, anything!” Harth wrote.

She said she asked to be hired as his campaign makeup artist, to have Trump consider investing in her new male cosmetics line and to ask Trump to be the pitchman for her “Made Man” trademarked line of male beauty products.

“In 2015 I was very excited about a new men’s cosmetic product line that I had developed and needed a prominent spokesperson. And after discussions with my business associate she thought Donald Trump would be ideal. I called Trump's executive assistant who asked me to put everything in writing by email with a formal proposal for Trump,” Harth said.

“The Hill has insisted I explain how I could accuse Donald Trump of sexual assault, sexual harassment and attempted rape in a 1997 federal lawsuit, then send him an email volunteering to do his makeup during the 2016 election campaign. Well, a couple years of therapy helped me deal with Trump's sexual attacks and the mind games he had played on me for more than a year and move on with my life. In 2015 I was very excited about a new men’s cosmetic product line that I had developed and needed a prominent spokesperson. And after discussions with my business associate she thought Donald Trump would be ideal. I called Trump's executive assistant who asked me to put everything in writing by email with a formal proposal for Trump.

“The email was the first such contact with Trump in a long while and our relationship was still cordial even though I realized that I would be dealing with someone who acted like a ‘dog in heat’ then, who had ruined my marriage and had continued pursuing me through the years. Yes, I had moved on but had not forgotten the pain he brought into my life. I was older, wiser. Trump was married to Melania and I had hoped he was a changed man.

“I got no response so I abandoned the effort until I saw him on TV at a rally looking worse than ever. He looked like a clown with an orange face and white circles around his eyes. So, I sent another email volunteering to do his makeup for free. Still no response.

In light of these new emails, that are verified by the alleged victim, I am extremely dubious as to the veracity of this person. It is crap like this that makes other extremely valid complaints seem watered down or false.
 
Well, if that's true, then that does throw her sexual assault story into serious doubt.
 
Is this another one whose story has been brought into question on top of those that were discovered atty Lisa Bloom was involved in dark money for the testimony of women to accuse Trump of sexual misconduct?

If she is just trying to ride the glory train then it is disappointing that she would use this platform to get publicity. It steals credence from valid harassment and assault complaints.

Judging by the amount of effort being put forth by the deep state, one has to wonder who else has been paid off to undermine the Trump Administration.

this is becoming a common theme. yet another allegation that has been torn down.
more will continue it just takes time to research and you have to have people willing to do
the investigative research into it.

I don't know anyone that would claim to be sexually assaulted and then come back and basically beg to be makeup artist to the man who sexually assaulted you.

you are right it makes other claims more suspicious and less likely to be believed.

Shaking my head. Why would anyone want to associate with him again after what she says happened (which I actually happen to believe)? But then again, I never understood why women go back to their abusive husbands/boyfriend either.

There are days I'm glad I'm me.

I am a very skeptical person. After seeing her accusation and her emails I don't believe a word she says. Maybe it's me. I don't trust anyone until I get to the point where I know them enough that I know I can totally trust them. All of my friends are brutally honest. I mean brutally. Maybe I am spoiled.
 
Getting a mortgage payoff, cold hard cash, free advertising for a cosmetic company, movie gigs, paid talk show interviews across the country all expenses paid: the financial opportunities for women willing to make false sexual harassment claims are really piling up! An entire cottage industry is being created around making bogus claims! Trump is creating job opportunities just from his very being. I guess all those women going to college to get their Gender Studies Degrees will have some good jobs lined up. Many get experience in college making false rape allegations in school, which gives them the chops to make false accusations against politicians and other high profile public figures.

I've not read of any accusers who gained experience in college making false rape accusations. Could you identify some please? Or just one or two?

going to her shrink for two years, she claims ................... never been to a shrink .................... I think they are for weak minds .............
 
This is what causes women to be fearful and this is what causes more useless turmoil.

Its been years...only now when its politically useful? We can make accusations... yet NOT one has been actually sent in front of a judge? Now we have these situations, where they are made up, or reversed or paid for, how can the other ones be treated with ANY credibility, Even if its possibly true.

Well I guess its true We are all going to Hell in a handbasket, and trump is carrying the basket, but its not just him.... People keep jumping in the damn basket...... ...

It makes you shake you head.

Again, here is my point.

If the abuse, and I use that word lightly, was not important enough to report at the time, then it shouldn't be important enough to report decades later.

Obviously she was willing to get really close to Trump again, so I find it hard to believe any of the original allegations.

The first conclusion drawn from the story OUGHT NOT be that every allegation is false.

But obviously there are so many who are gravitating to that conclusion. ****ing sad.

No street cred for her or Lisa Bloom. Ambulance chaser. So Trump ruined her marriage and pursued her like a dog in heat for years, but now all is forgotten, and hey, can I do your makeup? Bloom sure didn't get her money's worth with this idiot.
