“This particular protest was supposed to start at three, it was supposed to feature Nancy Pelosi, and it’s supposed to have hundreds of people, and none of those things are going to end up being true,” the reporter said.

Last week, Pelosi described the Republican tax bill as an “Armageddon” that would lead to the “end of the world.”

“Look, I’m not going to say it’s the end of the world, and Nancy didn’t mean it’s the end of the world, but one ought not diminish the consequences of passing this bill,” Hoyer said.

Great messaging.

That’s the Socialist Party Americans love. One that is so incompetent it can’t get its messaging straight, and can’t fill a room full of people to protest against it’s most important calling... keeping Americans poor and dependent.

Why don’t these Socialists come out and say what they really mean... like:

“We know better how to spend your money than you do.* It is not your money... you didn’t earn that**, and even if you might have... You might not spend it right***. We have lots of votes to buy, and without our ability to spend your money, it’s Armageddon.”

*Paraphrisng Bill Clinton.
** A spin on Barack Obama’s “You didn’t build that”, which essentially means the same thing.
***Paraphrasing Bill Clinton again.

When Democrats can’t fill a room to protest against Americans keeping their hard earned money, when they can’t spin and weave lies to divide and conquer... You know there is something deeply wrong with the leadership of the Socialists of America Partei (SAPs).

Good.

Direct quote from Obama's 2012 speech you're referring to :

If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you've got a business – you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen. The Internet didn't get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet.

You didn't build that refers to the roads and bridges the government built. Hinting that successful businesses are made possible thanks to a healthy environnement containing decent infrastructure.

"It is not your money... you didn’t earn that" has literally nothing to do with Obama's statement, try again.

Also, Pelosi is a democrat, not a socialist. You do realize they are not the same thing ? It's a false equivalency. Not everybody left of your political lean is a goodfornuthing-dictating-gungrabbing-nutbag-socialist. Kinda makes me feel like you're trying to reenact Cold War propaganda.

It does... because those people paid for those roads and services too. And most likely contributed more, not less.

What’s another great Obama line about other people’s money? Oh yeah! "I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody."

Or how about this wonder: “We're not trying to push financial reform because we begrudge success that's fairly earned. I mean, I do think at a certain point you've made enough money.”

Democrats have a lifelong association with being taxers, spenders and dividers. They learned their Class Warfare Socialist claptrap well. To them it isn’t your money, and you didn’t build that, and you might not spend your money “correctly”.

They’re arrogant swine, and make no mistake... they’re Socialists. Pelosi is as far Left as admitted Socialist Bernie Sanders, just like the majority of the party.

As for the party followers... it seems they’re largely Socialist too, as it took rigging the primaries to halt Bernie.

Claiming establishment loyalists like Pelosi are socialists is as ridiculous as claiming Trump is a fascist. It's hyperbole, it's factually inaccurate and reeks of partisanship.

Also, some of the Obama statements you just quoted sound pretty reasonable to me.

1) They didn't pay for the roads, they helped pay for them... not the same thing. It's solidarity.

2) Spreading the wealth around is basically economics 101. A correctly functioning Capitalist State can only work if people are buying and people are selling. Taxes are used to hire workers to build roads. The road-workers buy milk that's delivered to the supermarket by a company who drives on the roads the worker built. The economy works best when wealth is being exchanged. The worst thing you could do for a market is to hoard your money, because it halts the production.

3) We're not trying to push financial reform because we begrudge success that's fairly earned. I mean, I do think at a certain point you've made enough money --> here I can understand both sides of the argument. It is in some sense unfair that some people are born into a ultra rich family and become millionaires only because of the weight of their last name. However, it is also unfair that people should be forbidden from doing whatever they god damn please with their money. Mixed feelings about this one.

Really? the FedGov built something?

You do realize it was built by private industry with tax-payer monies?

It doesn't surprise me too much that Pelosi has a hard time turning people out. The other healthcare protests have been very good, and the ones planned for the future will probably have good turn out as well. Pelosi just isn't the kind of figure that is going to motivate a lot of people.

No one wants to lead a small parade.

Yes I do realize thank you. Here where I live when someone says (in french) "I built my house up in the mountains" it doesn't mean they themselves built their house, it means they paid someone to do it. Miscommunication, my bad.

"You did not built this", was introduced by Senator "Pocohontos" Warren from Massachusetts, who borrowed it from another source. The problem was Warren and President Obama did not fully extrapolate the logic all the way to the end. They stopped short.

It is true the Government build the roads and infrastructure that business uses. The question then becomes where did the government get the money to build those thing, since the government does not make or earn money? The money came from the tax payers. The Government did not do it either. The tax payer is more fundamental than the government in that logic. Where did the tax payers get the money? It came from businesses, who come up with new ways to create value and wealth. The buck stops there. Business did build the roads. Trumps tax plan targets the two fundamental pillars, which is business and tax payers.
