Judge blocks Trump rollback of Obamacare contraception mandate

No need to keep posting the Hobby Lobby case, as it's not helping you out.

A court, not 'courts', and they're going to get overruled. It's clearly within the authority of the Trump administration to change regulations.

Two courts so far. One from Pennsylvania and one from California.

From the article:

”a woman, not her boss and certainly not a politician, should decide what’s best for her own healthcare,” Becerra said in a statement. “This court ruling serves as yet another reminder to the Trump Administration: the rule of law applies to everyone, no matter who you are or how high your rank.”

I stand corrected. Two courts are going to be overruled.

I highly doubt the California Federal Court will overruled.

5 states were a part of that Federal ruling.

From the following article:

California, Delaware, Maryland, New York and Virginia ... filed a request for a preliminary injunction to stop federal regulations that weaken Obamacare’s birth control mandate.
<snip>

The injunction request from the five states asks a federal district court in California to immediately halt the interim rule. The states say the rules violate the separation of church and state outlined in the Constitution.
<snip>
The states argue that the Trump administration failed to provide notice and comments as required under federal law. They add that the administration offered “no persuasive reason to circumvent the normal rule-making process, relying primarily on their desire to implement the regulations as soon as possible.”
