President Trump Just Made It Even Easier For His Accusers To Win In Court

So you're asking someone who believes deeply in the constitution and the law, including 'innocent until proven guilty' to just throw his belief away, just because someone says so?

Fitness for office has nothing to do with guilt or innocence. This is a political issue. Trump doesn't have to resign; but his accusers don't have to back off either.

The particular poster I was taking to task, however, was getting overly pathetic in his defense of Trump. First, he doesn't know and second, in making his point, he relied extensively on Trump's own word, which has almost no credibility.

Another two of those pesky women Trump "never met"

Was that 1984?
I enjoyed that era.
The one to Donald’s left looks familiar.

I thought Mr. Franken "admitted his guilt."

Did he deny his actions after all?

And then wasn't it Schumer that insisted he resign, after he said he wouldn't?

How many photos like that (i.e., girls getting photo ops with rich Trump) do you think are out there? 100's 1000's?

Hmmm....

Let's see that quote:

First, note that and/or before "have never met."

That means some he has never met, while other's may have met him but he neither knows about them nor recalls the circumstances of their encounter(s).

Next, for the definition of "Know" used in this context:

Now I have met a lot of people in my lifetime. Thousands in fact.

There will be a few hundred that I will have had some moderate contact with, where they might even recall me while I don't recall them.

But the vast majority were so transient that I can honestly say while I may have encountered them I may not recognize them or if so, truthfully say I actually know them.

I am fairly certain that a wealthy top percenter of our society Trump has met hundreds of women in the course of his lifetime...the vast majority of whom have little or no impact on his memory.

Thus it might very well be fair of him to say...in all honesty, that he does not know someone despite having met them at one time or another.

Things are not as clear cut as some might think, just saying. :coffeepap:

It can be hard to remember one ***** out of all the ones he's grabbed, right?

Who can keep track when they just let you, right?

Of course one can sue someone who maliciously besmirched your reputation and in my view, these women have a case.

When these women prove their case in courts then we'll talk. If they aren't willing to test their claims in court why should Trump have to face a defamation suit by calling them liars?

Christonacracker. Bring back Sean Spicer. That woman is absolutely dreadful.

What boggles my mind is that the preacher's daughter is being paid to "bear false witness" (that would be #9 on your list of Ten Commandments, for those keeping score at home) on a daily basis.

As rule, being press secretary for the president involves you taking questions to explain the President's policies. Yes, normally this position has you cast favorable light on the President and the approach he is taking. Casting favorable light, however, is not the same as outright lying and deflecting the truth, which is the job SHS has because the President lies so much AND does outrageous things on a daily basis that must be explained (covered up).

If I were Mike Huckabee, I would not be proud of my daughter's chosen profession as she is, in essence, a professional liar. At least tell her to go by Sarah Sanders.

In the meantime, they are free to tell their stories and champion the cause of women in general. Maybe they can at least embarrass Trump. I realize that is not likely as the man has no shame.

Defamation cases ARE heard in court.

Defamation cases ARE heard in court.

When are these attention whores going to take their sexual harassment claims to court? Once they do that and win, then we can talk about Trump defaming thing.

I hope they do sue. Trump is no automatic winner in court. The Trump U settlement cost the Scammer-in-Chief a cool $25 million

Isn't the obvious out that Trump's statement, which mentions women he never met and/or doesn't know, applies only to those women he never met and/or doesn't know?

His tweet isn't about all the accusations being made against him. It's about the accusations from the women he claims to have never met and not to know, accusations he believes are part of a Democratic conspiracy against his character.

Anyone thinking this would cause legal trouble is a fool.

Considering his past relationship with some of these women, if Trump isn't straight-up lying in that tweet, then he has Alzheimer's.

The preacher's daughter is also out there lying for a man who broke at least two Commandments that we're aware of. She is the epitome of a hypocrite. She wants everyone else to obey the 10 Commandments while she breaks them herself and shames herself working for a man who also broke them.

She must have a excellent staff, she is rarely blindsided or unprepared for a press question.....
She is well tuned to Trump's staff also.

The man seems to have little control over his typing fingers -- and a verry poor memory.

Clearly Hillary Clinton and Robert Mueller have hacked his Twitter account....AGAIN.

SAD!

:)
