No...I think the alternative is chaos.
My wife likes to do some charity work. I'm much to jaded for that.
I think real Libertarianism is an interesting idea, but places too much onus on the individual to police themselves.
In short I don't think man is capable of the control it would take to live without a government, nor is he capable of the control it would take to live in a communist society. Thus we have capitalistic internationalism. Greed on a global scale.

I have wondered what a real alien would think, having come to Earth for a look-see?
"Hmmm...They are really quite cruel to their people. They use the concept of Gawds to justify killing each other. Oops...damnit. And they're playing with nuclear warfare. Time to move on..."

The government "should" have all our best interests at heart. That Sir, is the problem.
 
Gawd, humans are fascinating!

Given what was released by Snowden and WikiLeaks regarding CIA tools that make posts and other things appear to be from virtually any source, the tools of deception giving us "Fancy Bear" and the other "bears" supposedly responsible for all sorts of cyber crimes and deceptions, how in the hell can this story be taken seriously? It is ludicrous, but oh so fashionable these days.

All together now: THE RUSSIANS ARE COMING, THE RUSSIANS ARE COMING.
