'morning joe' ups ante: Calls for cabinet-led coup, 'sociopath' trump must be removed

You'd have to get Pence to help with this. Good luck.

I didn't say it would be probable. but it would be constitutional and not a coup.

There's no constitutional way to overthrow the government.

It isn't overthrowing the government using that method, but then an honest non-partisan person would see that. And just FYI, Pence would then be president so explain how that is overthrowing the government?

The unlawful removal of the president is called "overthrowing the government".

It wouldn't be unlawful, it would be constitutional should they be able to prove it. Hence, not overthrowing the government since Pence would be president. Again, you know nothing about what you are talking about as usual.

As usual, you think The Constitution can be interpreted at will and it can't. The 25th Amendment doesn't exist to remove a president because you don't like him. Doing so on those grounds would be illegal.

I never said it can be used to remove someone I don't like, I said if they can prove it it would constitutional. Hence as usual you don't know what you're talking about. why don'y you educate yourself before you spout **** off you don't understand

Who said anything about shutting them down... but I do wonder about media talking about a coup. There is a first amendment right, especially provided for the press and political talk, but calling for a coup??? At a minimum it’s irresponsible and stupid. It also indicates how far gone those clowns are. You wanna use the Leftist terms of it... I believe they have defined triggered and snowflakes...and whacko’s.

Ahh how truncated the memory of some on the rather extreme right can be. I recall many of the more right wingnut type 'media' outlet demanding a coup against Obama. Members of Congress calling for Impeachment, the most unconstitutional President ever.... at a minimum that's irresponsible and stupid...

I guess rabid right clowns can never be too far gone for some folks... :peace

I admit I don't know a lot about Dementia. I'll have to do some research. I was under the impression that it was similar to Alzheimers, where people grow forgetful and lose memory.

If you want an eye opener, check out some old videos of trump.speaking.

He's not the man he used to be.

They didn't call for a "coup" - at best/worst they called for the Cabinet appointed by Trump, his closest advisors and confidantes, to use Constitutional powers granted them by the 25th Amendment.

To be honest I'm a little tired of BS like that discussion. It's either not going to happen, or if his cabinet considers the situation seriously, it will be in response to a genuine crisis of leadership, something even his most admiring supporters will recognize as such - him ordering something that the cabinet collectively believes is absolutely batcrap crazy and poses a dire threat to our national security or the world, 10s or hundreds of millions of people at risk of dying, nuking all of N. Korea or something, setting off a major conflict with China, WWIII, whatever. But right now it's just the cable news equivalent of click bait nonsense....

And that kind of BS is why I don't watch cable news of any kind. Find it just a complete waste of my time - far rather waste my entertainment hours on here, and read in between posts.
