I'm of the mind that plenty of politicians don't care all that much about things that affect other people, but at least put some effort into it man. He really didn't have the time to change the location before he just copied and pasted it?

Actually, it well sums up the approach of many from the right.... boilerplate condolences, insert name of city here....

Too many on that side of the aisle have become sociopaths. They have allowed the quest for unfettered gun rights to trump any calamity tied to guns. Another day, another shooting, another "thoughts and prayers", a moment on silence in Congress and then business as usual. They won't actually do anything to change the situation (even have a meaningful dialogue about what they might do), because that would be inconvenient and the NRA wouldn't like it.

Its no wonder this group goes for Trump, who is most clearly a sociopath

.... he has the empathy of a '57 Edsel, and there were enough people on the right that felt this was an acceptable personality characteristic of a POTUS, which frankly is an indictment of his voters.

The other day I heard a psychiatrist in an interview describe Trump as being afflicted with (among other things): "Malignant Solipsism"

This tweet is a perfect example of that. Trump isn't just a textbook narcissist and likely sociopath, the fact the world doesn't completely revolve around him is just inconceivable to him.

And sadly, many of his followers don’t care about his personality disorders or quirks because they relate to him because he’s a reflection of them.
