Twitter Slams Donald Trump For Tweeting Condolences About The Wrong Mass Shooting

And sadly, many of his followers don’t care about his personality disorders or quirks because they relate to him because he’s a reflection of them.

The hell of it is, I don't know how a person could relate to someone like Trump. I mean how can you relate to someone that has this truly infantile notion that he is the only one that actually exists. To Trump his followers are nothing more than entities that revolve around him.

They tore into him in swarm fasion because he "appeared" to have offered condolences to the wrong folks?
No, it's because he (or a communications staffer, more likely) appears to have screwed up the Tweet. At best, they cut and paste the old Tweet, changed a few things, and forgot to change the name of the city.

To put it mildly, it indicates a lack of sincerity.

It's not a big deal. However, it is also the kind of "not big deal" that would send Trump into a multi-day Twitter Frenzy if this type of mistake was made by someone Trump didn't like, and/or his followers mistake for substance. Sometimes, you get what you give.

I agree with you but you don’t need to look any further than many of the posters here on this forum. He’s the voice of a demographic of people who feel they’ve been pushed to the side lines of society. The type that sit around getting angry listening to a.m. hate radio. Trump could make an announcement that he was going to nuke Canada tomorrow, and they would cheer him on just as long as he continued to provide them entertainment value by continuing to “piss off the libtards”. Truth or showing any presidential sign of class doesn’t matter to them.

Yes it is a big deal. Condolences over multiple murders is or at least should be a big deal.

One little tweet and the resist movement goes into convolutions for 24 hours.
Outrageous indignation! Let the Trump hate spill out.......... :lamo

One guy kneels during the National Anthem, and Trump World goes ape**** for months.

Outrageous indignation! Let the hatred of black people -- oh, so sorry, leftists -- spill out.......... :lamo

The idiot cut and pasted his response from the previous tragedy. And this is the guy that you all jack off over.

Is 'jack off' the proper term for women? Or do you just think women's political views don't matter that you don't include them in your insults?

Just curious.

He really needs to get off Twitter. Jerk.

Actually, it well sums up the approach of many from the right.... boilerplate condolences, insert name of city here....

Too many on that side of the aisle have become sociopaths. They have allowed the quest for unfettered gun rights to trump any calamity tied to guns. Another day, another shooting, another "thoughts and prayers", a moment on silence in Congress and then business as usual. They won't actually do anything to change the situation (even have a meaningful dialogue about what they might do), because that would be inconvenient and the NRA wouldn't like it.

Its no wonder this group goes for Trump, who is most clearly a sociopath

The Sociopath

.... he has the empathy of a '57 Edsel, and there were enough people on the right that felt this was an acceptable personality characteristic of a POTUS, which frankly is an indictment of his voters.

That's a mighty broad brush you're using there. You progressives don't pigeonhole people much, do ya.

It's a figure of speech should be pretty clear in it's use. Here is the action of the guy that his followers blindly defend like some sort of god.

Please. You're just being difficult.

Who has made Twitter their own personal little soapbox in the last year or so?
Who has used it like almost nobody before?

I'm sure you are alluding to Trump but, again, I don't follow it.

That's some lame trolling if I've ever seen lame trolling.

Even if someone kept you in a locked cage completely isolated from news, you'd still know about Trump's twitter addiction because it's regularly discussed here, where you have been posting.

You are right. It is a broad brush. But, I said "many from the right", not "all" not "most". It is a character of "many".... and you can see it here in many gun debates: very little expressed sympathy for the victims; impassioned defense of unfettered gun rights. So, I don't think I am way off base.

I do not believe it qualifies as "pidgeonholing" as I am clearly speaking of a subset. Similar to stating that most neo-nazi's are Republicans, but that does not make a Republican a neo-nazi.

There's no "appear".

Read the OP. He sent a twit to his twits offering condolences for the wrong shooting. It appears he merely cut and pasted and didn't even bother to see if he had the right city.

The "appears" has to do with the item speculating what happened. In any case, it's ****ing stupid and shows just how much richie rich really cares about anyone else.

Trumpies are liars, and they will lie for him repeatedly. This fat prick needs to lose someone close to him...

wait....there is no one he cares about except him

It may be a big brush but it is in no way inaccurate. The right is never shy about whining about gun rights before the bodies are moved from the scene of the latest shooting. It's so bad the president of the United States, with a huge staff cannot tell them all apart.

In any post regarding gun deaths, the right wing will start a blather about ****ing gun rights by the third post. Don't try top tell people anyone supporting Trump gives a **** about anyone but themselves.

In closing you are also the biggest hypocrites. All during the Obama administration the alt right tore into supporters and lame excuses, now you guys are using the same excuses.

Understand this. I see very little difference between the two parties, but the right in these days of the "Trump version of reality" has proven itself to be the largest group of lame whiners. I have no respect for any of you.

Hell, NO rightie on this board had ANY problem with Trump beating up a gold star mother in a cheap, petty and childish twit exchange. Not one of you said a thing, but some of you STILL go on about Hillary and her response to war dead which was far more acceptable than what lying Larry spewed out though his ass

Phew.....really in a lather there, and taking it out on the wrong person. I call it as I see it, on both sides, and the left is just as hypocritical as anyone. You all** will scream for gun control before the 3rd post, hell, they start threads with it. So don't be so high and mighty. And showing your hate for someone by saying 'This fat prick needs to lose someone close to him' is just disgusting. I wouldn't want that for anybody.

**Note: yes, I see your lean is Independent, but since you didn't take the effort to note mine, I figured what the hell. I treat people how they treat me.
