What you see is what Bernie Sanders really believes and think it's what Donald Trump wants too, because Donald Trump tells you that he wants to control banks, drain the swamp, etc. You error is believing what Trump says instead of looking at what he does.
The reality is that while Trump tells you those things, he doesn't believe those things, as evident by the dominance of Wall St. and bankers on his cabinet. While Trump said he would provide 'terrific' healthcare, the only plans he supported were ones that threw millions off health insurance and raised premiums for everyone else. Failing to get those plans, he went ahead to unilaterally destabilize the insurance market. Bernie would have never done those things.
Trump said, he would bring the best people in the govt. What he did was bring the most incompetent boobs in govt, who used their office to overuse private jets and perks.
On taxes, while Trump says his plan is a middle-class tax-cut, it's really a major cut for the rich. Bernie believes that taxes on the rich should rise and maybe taxes on the middle class should fall.
On character, Bernie is honest and sincere. Trump is dishonest and self-serving. Whenever Trump says, "believe me," you can be assured that you should do the opposite.
Trump and Sanders are basically opposites.
