Poll: Majority of military officers view Trump unfavorably [W:255]

The only militaries which view Trump unfavorably are the Russian & North Korean armies & they have good reason to feel that way.
I believe the Iranian 'Quds Force' isn't too happy about Trump being Commander in Chief either.

Trump suits our military just fine!

Except it seems the military doesn't agree with your claims.

You just keep telling yourself that.:lamo

You're the one that doesn't understand that enlisted are the backbone of the armed forces. That's why you're dancing around like a chicken on a hot stove.

So now you change your tune. Typical dishonesty from you.

You are casing your argument on one article.

Are you active duty, or do you live near a military base? I was, and I still live in the military community. The most common answer I get from the active's is that they don't like Trumps mouth, but they like the fact that he is 100% behind them when it comes to winning, and his removing of the restraints that they felt Obama had over them when it comes to deck plate level operations.

You claimed the enlisted men ARE the military. Now you changed your claim. More dishonesty.

Do you understand the "backbone" expression? Obviously, not.

No, at the end of the day, you are yet again looking for anything to deflect from the fact that Donald Trump absolutely sucks as president. You mention Obama, ignoring the fact that the military has generally overwhelmingly always voted Republican. So the fact that a Democrat president had roughly equal approval ratings with a Republican president with a group that usually votes Republican speaks volumes to how bloody awful Donald Trump truly is.

You get a 10 on the one-sidedness prejudicial meter, I bet you walk down the street and when you trip on your shoelaces
you mumble under your breath, "Damn Trump made me trip."

The enlisted men do. Afterall, they are the military.

Even among the enlisted the Marines are the only branch with any great deal of support for Trump.

Not to mention, of course, that the military doesn't function well without officers.

Except his actual, real world comments show that to be totally untrue. He's gone after POWs and the families of people killed in action, and has shown no hesitation to throw the military under the bus for his own mistakes.

My husband J is a captain in the Navy reserves, Trump is the antithesis to everything he believes about leadership and ethics.

Not really surprising to me. I know a decent number of people who have an unfavorable view regarding Donald Trump.

The issue is assuming that having an unfavorable view of Donald Trump with having a favorable view of all the attacks on him, disagreeing with him on all things policy, believing he is unfit/shouldn't be President, or supporting the notion that someone else should be President instead of him.

My sister and mother were both Trump voters; if asked about their opinion of the man from a neutral source, I have zero doubt based on how they talk about him that they'd both indicate they have an unfavorable opinion of him.

I brought this up often during the primary. One of the primary reasons I think traditional polls and methods of judging thing is politically with Trump is because unlike most instances with politicians, Trump garnered what I described as "He's an asshole, BUT...". Some people liked him despite being an asshole. Some people actually found the fact he was an asshole refreshing despite it also being a bit of a put off. Where as normally in politics, being unlikable also means lacking the ability to garner support.
For some I think that's a big part of it.

I have no doubt.

Further, Trump avoided military service during time of war. Trump insulted a former POW in John McCain. Trump is attacking Mueller, a Vietnam veteran. I haven't seen, or heard about, any action on the part of Trump that would make believe he was up to the sacrifice that the common everyday sailor, soldier, or Marine, gives on a daily basis during a war.
