Roy Moore’s Foundation Received A $1,000 Donation From A Nazi Group in 2005

It only keeps getting better. As senators and congressmen keep getting primaried from the right, this is where our GOP party is heading.

I have the perfect slogan for Roy Moore: "Making American White, Straight and Stupid Again".

That this talibornagain nutsack could get nominate is scary enough, but, once again the republicans vote for someone that the nazis love.

Whoops, Vance fails again.

Predictably....too easy!

Thank you for posting this. We all need to know such important information.

I know, it's not as important as all those horrible folks that donated to the Clinton foundation, but it's a close second. I'm sure you took issue with the millions of $ and resources that went into the Benghazi/Clinton investigation as well. Sucks when stuff like this happens to those you support.

You're welcome, by the way. :2wave:

Well, it was 2005. I think he's had time by now. All those who demanded Clinton give back Harvey Weinstein's $ should have no problem demanding Moore give this $ back, IMO.

Fair point

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of Roy Moore. I just thought it was rather ridiculous to paint him as a white supremacist due to a donation from a group that had a legitimate sounding name.

Fair point as well.

I don't think Alabamans are Nazi's. I think what motivates them more to vote for someone like Moore is their hatred of anything Democrat. They've been taught all their lives to hate and fear anything liberal. They're told every cycle that all Democrats want to do is take their guns away and make them shower with girls. I think they honestly believe that.

You are right to an extent.

Pro-gun, Pro-Life, Christianity, and Small Government are pretty much the common shared values for many in the South and they view Democrats to be in direct opposition to those values so it will be hard winning over a larger portion of the population down here as long as they feel that Democrats do not represent them.

Oddly enough, even the racists down here aren't fans of Nazis because of Socialism being in the name. Most typically want to just be left alone by the government so Nazi ideology and fascism isn't as popular as the KKK type groups for them. I don't think I have ever seen anyone say or display anything in support of Nazis down here. Hell, during Charlottesville most of the people I know were pissed at seeing the Rebel flag side by side with the Nazi flag.

How exactly does that change the fact that the entire rat party has been having money funneled to them by Harvey Weinstein? Or that there are plenty of pictures of Hillary and Trump?

Biggest rat of all is in that picture---hint: he's tinted orange.

$1K from a Neo Nazi 12 years ago.....
Did Moore's foundation know this dude was a Nazi wannabe or was this donation among thousands they probably get a year and didn't investigate it's source or...what?

If they knew who/what he was and didn't care, then that's a problem. If they didn't know, is it really an issue?

Keep in mind: I am not endorsing the nazi's guys views. I'm just asking a serious question since the answer makes a very big difference in the scheme of things.

In 12 years Moore and his foundation staff have had plenty of time to do the research regarding the donation source. He should make a show of donating the $ to what his would-be constituents think is a worthy cause.

The Clinton Foundation received millions from a Muslim government that executes gays. You don't have a problem with that.

If that's true, I sure do have a problem with that! Please don't assume how I feel. I'd sure like to see your source on that. Thanks.

How can you not know this?

Nonetheless. looking at the Clinton Foundation’s donor list, Saudi Arabia gave between $10 million and $25 million. But the foundation reported the Saudi money in December 2008, and the amount hasn’t changed since. Clinton Foundation spokesman Brian Cookstra pointed out that Saudi Arabia did not give to the foundation while Secretary Clinton was at the State Department.

The foundation has also taken between $1 million and $5 million each from United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Oman. As The Wall Street Journal reported, several of these donations came in 2014, after Clinton's tenure at the State Department.

Did Hillary Clinton take money from countries that treat women, gays poorly? | PolitiFact Arizona

From the article:

Donald Trump continues to attack Hillary Clinton on everything from campaign spending to ISIS.

At a rally in Phoenix, he accused her of taking money from countries that have a poor rapport with women and gay people.

"She's been given tens of millions of dollars by countries that treat women horribly," Trump said June 18. "And countries that kill gays, they kill gays, they push them off of buildings."

Trump, whose campaign did not return a request for comment, seems to be referencing donations given to the Clinton Foundation. Trump has referenced her foundation ties in the past, saying she needs to "return the $25 million" Saudi Arabia gave the foundation.

Trump has no right to criticize anyone that wants to have a good relationship with the Saudi's.

You all realize that Saudi Arabia has been our ally for decades? And on one of Trump's international trips he went and "kissed the ring" of the Saudi government literally? So did Bush, so did Obama. Now, all of the sudden people call Clinton on the carpet for accepting aid from the Saudis? Double standard, anyone?

**** - most of Trump's supporters think it's great that Trump kisses up to Russia - an enemy of the free world - and talk about a major oppressor of human rights!

Anyway, either Saudi Arabia is our ally or they aren't. You can't just call them an enemy when Clinton is involved. :peace

How can you not know this?

I addressed this issue in my reply to Nap. Every modern president has kissed up to Saudi Arabia. Remember when Bush invited the Saudi prince to his pretend ranch in Texas and held his hand like he was his girlfriend?

Saudi Arabia has been US's ally for decades. You can't just choose to call Clinton on the carpet for having a relationship with Saudi Arabia just because it's Clinton.

Please just answer this question: Is Saudi Arabia a U.S. Ally or not? If your answer is, "yes", then you can't go after Clinton on that.

Excuses, excuses. :lamo

So much for "I do have a problem with it."

This question never be asked enough: are you STILL wondering why Democrats are losing elections?

You are acting like double standards and hypocrisy aren't the norm in US partisan politics. Remember "The 1980's called and they want their foreign policy back". Every President regardless of political affiliation kisses up to Russia while in office and their supporters follow suit typically.

The question was never about if Saudi Arabia was an ally or enemy, only that a country with a laundry list of human rights violations including executing homosexuals has donated millions of dollars to the Clinton foundation. Are you saying that their barbaric practices are morally justified because they are an "ally"?

Naturally I have some disagreements with him, but he's far closer to me than Moore, and I actually like some of what I've heard from him economically. Were it a governor's race I'd support him easily over Moore. But it's not just between them. This race has a huge impact on the balance of the Senate.

At least you're honest in your support of that ...just to help keep your party in power. I can't say what I really think of that man and taking money from a neo-Nazi whose views aren't much different from Moore's.

No, I know exactly why Democrats are losing elections - because unlike Republicans, Democrats refuse to play on their bases' fear and bigotry. I'll give the Republicans this - when they have talking points, Republicans stick to them like glue. That's something the Dems should do. Even though it's dishonest, Republicans stick together on lies like "Obama death panels" and "The death tax (estate tax) is a burden on small businesses.". If the Dems want to win, they have to start doing the same dirty stuff.

Thanks for asking :2wave: :peace

Well I think I said I'd prefer Moore losing in this particular case. But in general I think it's a reasonable thing to be concerned about. Who controls the majority in the Senate has much, much more effect on policy than any individual senator.

Would you not overlook at least a few flaws in a Democratic candidate if it was the decisive Senate seat?

I'm saying that you can't just all of the sudden excuse everyone else's support of Saudi Arabia and then be outraged when Clinton reaches out. At least Saudi Arabia is making progress, recently women are allowed to drive. Do I think barbaric practices are justified? Absolutely not!

Are you saying that the U.S. should pull our troops out of Saudi Arabia now, close our military bases and impose sanctions?

Ok...so no...you don't know. :lamo

Hey, I'm heading back to San Antonio at the end of the month. I found the greatest Tex-Mex place in the Northeast last time I was there - Grand Tequila: 403 Forbidden.

Great food, live Mariachi music. I can't wait to hit it again!

Safe travels to you!
