Those hacked emails of the DNC werent revealed until the convention-- long after Sanders had already been a force in the party.

I think you guys are missing what happened in 2016.
Trump and Sanders were cut from the same cloth-- anger over 'politics as usual.' That is what explains it.

They targeted specific areas in this country. If you were all for removing all illegals, your district was targeted with anti-immigrant adds--fake stories about crimes committed by illegals. If you were against Syrian refugees entering this country you were targeted with fake news adds about them.

If Bernie Sanders was popular in your state--they invaded it with adds & fake news about Hillary Clinton. Even after he lost the primary they were making adds telling people to vote for Bernie Sanders, or Jill Stein stating you "won't be wasting your vote."

The most dangerous one was Pizza Gate. An add that accused Hillary Clinton of running a child sex operation out of a pizza joint in Washington D.C. The owners were attacked with death threats, and one nutcase from North Carolina went up there, walked in with automatic weapon--put two holes in the ceiling before police could arrest the wacko.

The totally false conspiracy theory claims that Hillary Clinton and her former campaign chair, John Podesta, ran a child sex ring at the basement of a pizzeria in DC, Comet Ping Pong (which doesn’t even have a basement). Over the past few weeks, Donald Trump supporters and white supremacists on social media have pushed the conspiracy theory — leading to headlines like “Pizzagate: How 4Chan Uncovered the Sick World of Washington’s Occult Elite” on fake news websites.

It's not only this country they're doing it in. Brexit was influenced by adds coming out of Russia, Germany and even Spain has felt the wrath of negative news concocted in Syberia or St. Petersburg, Russia to influence. Anytime they see any discourse within a region they will be on the other end of that discourse.

Facebook has admitted that Russian adds were put on their site, Twitter was asked about it yesterday by Robert Mueller, and they are investigating that now. Mueller is following the money trail on these adds which were in the thousands of adds.

Definitely cut from the same cloth they were both campaigning on a rigged election and many believed it. It turns out the election was rigged--but it was rigged against Hillary Clinton.

The one I'm thinking about said that the impression of Russia being the greatest geo-political foe was based on ignorance and fear from a bygone age. Then he went on to cover up what his intelligence guys said was Russian interference in our election and ever since leaving office has tried to prove that Russia is a huge problem.

I lived in Texas in the 70's and 80's and all Texans brag that Texas is the only state that can vote itself out of the Union, I don't know if that is true, but all the Natives say that.
