Trump on Russian Facebook Ads: 'Hoax'

Why not? Maybe Trump is lying. I assure he is capable of doing so.

Just to be sure I understand this:

In your view of the world, a Republican "maybe" lying is equivalent to a Democrat actually and repeatedly lying?

Just wondering...

Is it any wonder why many Trump supporters believe Russian meddling is "fake news"?

It starts at the top. Trump is despicable, unworthy of the office.

Why is he despicable?

Has he used the agencies of government to strip rights from citizens?

Trump is existing in two worlds simultaneously: 1)Russian interference is a hoax. 2)Russian interference happened, and it's Obama's fault.

It's entirely possible that he believes both of these things.

There's a third reality and this is the real world reality: Trump won and Hillary lost.

Clinton lied under oath.

In fairness to Hillary though, anyone from the Obama Administration who said anything while under oath lied each and every time they were put under oath.

So, there's that...

Gloat trolling is so December, 2016.

The 'hoax' he is talking about is the claim that Russian actions influenced the election results. And he is right, that is a hoax. Hillary lost because she didn't appeal to people in key rust belt states. Russian facebook ads had zero to do with it. Zero.

Did Hillary appeal to anyone?

If she suddenly changed parties and proclaimed herself to be a Republican, would her legion of political hangers on still have their collective nose lodged between her buttocks?

No. The hoax is that facebook ads by Russians tipped the scales to Trump. I forget the numbers, but Hillary outspend Trump in advertising by tens of millions of dollars. A couple hundred thousand in facebook ads is like pissing in the ocean and claiming you altered the temperature.

How do you feel about a foreign government buying advertising to influence the election in our country?

Leftists....

In an ongoing discussion, leftists are presented with actual evidence of pay for play at the Hillary Clinton State Department and leftists...meh...whatever, who cares, never happened, Im not reading no damned incriminating emails...whatever.

But Trump and Russia? Hook, line, and sinker. Leftists bought into the DNCs excuses for their email exposure back in May of 2016 and never let go. Trump...Russia...and 9 months into a presidency, nearly 2 years into intel agency unmasking and investigations with no actual evidence...evidence? Who needs evidence! TRRRRUUUUUUUUMMMMMMPPPPPP!!!!!!!

Now Facebook is making claims. And now Rob Reiner and the Hollywood leftists are starting their own independent investigation campaigns. And all the adoring blind muppets and bobbleheads are right there with them.

Leftists...

:lamo

It wasnt that long ago........

And leftists swallowed that too, looking up adoringly into their eyes while doing so.

doesn't seem to be a hoax. the question now is whether or not there was coordination with the campaign.

Well they spent the enormous sum of $100K.

That IS two one thousandths (0.002%) of the outlays of the campaign spending for the Presidential races in 2016.

In other words, they could have bought a TV ad during the Super Bowl of about 0.4 seconds. If your personal blinking takes the average amount of time, you'd miss about half of this ad if you blinked while it was running.

Is there an example of one of these ads circulating yet? Were they more damning for Hillary than the average CBS new report is for Trump?

That is true to an extent, but he's saying the whole thing is a hoax. That's not really true.

It's pretty obvious that he is including this with the rest of the "Fake News" as being a hoax.

A Hoax is something that is intended to deceive or defraud and this is definitely a hoax under that definition.

If she switched parties republicans would embrace her as one of their own so fast you'd sue for whiplash.

The idea that she lost because of it is a matter of interpretation. We don't know why and the reasons are many. You could point to any number of things and say that's the reason.

The idea that there was Russian involvement seems to be true. Even Don Jr admits that he tried to get help from them.

He also says that he got no help.

Are both statements true?

Trump on Russian Facebook Ads: 'Hoax'

"The Russia hoax continues, now it's ads on Facebook," Trump tweeted Friday.

Of course he says it's a hoax. Reminds me of when Bill Clinton "didn't have sexual relations with that woman."

Hey Rocketman. :2wave: That was kinda a low ball tweet for Trump. He couldn't think of anything else to say? I've heard Facebook being described as way worse. Why no colorful insults? Isn't Facebook supposed to be a front for the CIA controlled by the Jews? I think he's clearly scared of what Zuckerberg did. He's like, "Oh Sh*T a real Billionaire, has got me now. I should say something to reaffirm my idiot followers that I'm innocent." For comparison see how badly Trump has insulted the GOP senators who did not vote for the Health Care bill. Trump's either scared of the investigation, or isn't really allowed to tweet about it, or both.

If she switched parties republicans would embrace her as one of their own so fast you'd sue for whiplash.

I once described Hillary Clinton as the Mitt Romney of the Democratic Party.

How do you feel about a foreign government buying advertising to influence the election in our country?

Well, the Dems want foreign citizens to have the right to vote.

Why are they against these same folks having the right support a candidate?

That has nothing to do with my question which you refused to answer. I'm asking you personally. Unless you are a Democrat.

I'm sure you're exactly right.

Except about the part of me suing for whiplash.

I hold no love for either party.

I dropped in to the middle of a conversation you were having with someone else.

What question did you want to have answered?

federal election law bans campaign contributions from foreign entities. the question in this case is whether or not there was coordination with the Trump campaign.

The one you jumped in on. I figured you would want to answer it: How do you feel about a foreign government buying advertising to influence the election in our country?

Pretty obviously, there was not.

Federal Election Laws also demand that only those with the right to vote can vote.

However, the Democrats want everyone to vote with or without proper qualifications.

Why is it good to have non-citizens voting, AND bad to have non-citizens contributing?

Seems like a bit of conflicting ideas.
