CNN)President Donald Trump retweeted an edited video Sunday morning that showed him swinging a golf club and appearing to hit his former presidential campaign rival Hillary Clinton with a golf ball.

The animated GIF image Trump retweeted spliced together footage of Trump taking a swing on a golf course with footage of Clinton tripping and falling as she boarded a plane in 2011 as secretary of state. The footage is edited to make it appear as though Clinton is hit in the back with a golf ball before her fall

I'm of two minds about this. Yeah, I kinda chuckled when I saw it also. And yeah, I also think that this isn't very Presidential. On the other hand, why does a President have to be stuffy all the time and the only type of joking allowed is "approved" joking? I kind of find it refreshing to see a President that does the same kind of joking around that 90% of America does. I've seen that same type of meme before where Hillary gets hit with a golf ball while entering that plane. Sometimes with out anyone picted before it and other times various other people doing the same type of swing with a golf club. Also seen that golf ball hit other people in edited pieces. The funny thing is that I don't even go out looking for stuff like that. I normally run across it like I did this one. In some thread or video on facebook or youtube.

In the end, I wish he hadn't retweeted it. But at the same time I'm not going to bash him for something that millions of people watched all the time before this....and laughed at.

Note: I tried to find a video of what I'm talking about but all the search phrases are coming up with either regular golfers getting hit or this Trump retweet. Funny how when you look for something you can't find it but when you're not looking for that something later on you'll probably end up finding it...in this case dozens of em.

The guy is pathetic...what happened to his sense of humor re the ESPN bs...yeah, wouldn't surprise me if Obama did an SNL appearance as well...Trump whines like a baby and attacks their humor...Trumps humor is fitting for that lame show where people do the dumbest things and people laugh at it...I've seen some clips and don't like the show but have had a chuckle or two...never once did I consider any of them Presidential.

At some point I would hope the hypocrisy gets old and eventually perhaps some of his supporters may come to realize they owe the world an apology...granted many will remain Trumpian and just like him, don't have enough of a moral compass to understand.

What will the ultimate cost be? Who knows? So far it appears we no longer have a lock on the leader of the free world title.

I'm no Obama fan and find it sad the damnocraps couldn't do better than Hillary...but the republicons coming up with Trump...areyou****tin'me?

If the country survives Trump without too much damage I think election reform should be high on the agenda...forget the identity issue...use IQ tests or a few current event questions before letting fools rush in.

I don't want to live on earth anymore, let the liberals have this little mud-ball. We need to charter a massive flight to mars, and just move America there. Let them all die in whatever apocalyptic hell hole they create fro themselves here, and be done with it.

Obama made jokes, Bush made jokes, and so did Bill.. he is just another in a line of presidents that is doing the same. No matter what though, we are going to have people scream misogyny or some crap like that because of this meme. Though I doubt any real news agency is going to go to the lengths that CNN did, and threaten to actually dox someone over this. That is saying the same for some self-entitled hate monger to go out, and do just that in their place.

I guess some of us expect more from the POTUS than what we'd expect from a drunk idiot at a bar, or comedian. He's the POTUS for goodness sake. Do you want to lower the bar all the way to the floor?
