Trump retweets GIF of him hitting Clinton with golf ball

But... I would probably laugh at this gif if it was anyone swinging the club and getting "hit"... especially if they are famous in some way. No need for hate.

We can differ on the need for hate.

Go laugh at yourself for asking ridiculous questions that you know goddamn well I do not have the answers to - nor does anybody and it makes no difference.

So nobody has the answer? So for all you know they guessed that number. And you want to get pissy with me because I'm asking HOW they arrived at that number their statistics are based on. LMAO!

You want detailed questions about the mechanics behind the numbers. Write the author.

This is a sign of how desperate you are that you would resort to such cheap tactics.

Are you really denying that Clinton won the vote of those with college degrees?

Are you still unable to tell me how they determined the number of college degrees in their poll? I am not asking you for a detailed analysis of all of their statistics. But when you are claiming That more college graduates voted for one person... it stands to reason that you should be able to tell me how you arrived at the numbers of college graduates. You are now claiming that it is dishonest to question your data.

This is classic.

Do try and focus on the issue.

Rather than the holes in your support lol.

Another poster accused the base of democratic voters of being low IQ - which we all know what that means.

You seem to be implying something. Can you spell that one out for us, because all it means to me is less intelligent. Do you think it means something else?

I merely pointed out that Clinton won those with college degrees.

this analysis also agrees with that conclusion

Behind Trump's victory: Divisions by race, gender and education | Pew Research Center

Do you dispute that?

And this from the Brookings Institute analysis

My point is proven despite your intellectually dishonest tactics.

So your point is proven even though you can't tell me how you came to the number of college degrees or how your sources did? Was it a guess? A formula? Self reporting on how those degrees voted? What? I'm curious.

Alright 3 problems with this, starting with the fact that all jokes are subjective to the viewer. Even going so far that any joke can be funny or intolerant, though when someone laughs they are showing that the current situation is not threatening to them in the least. So weather you can make a joke about cotton candy, all the way to the other end of the spectrum with one about genocide. All of those jokes are equal grounds. Donald has had several jokes that I haven't found funny, though that is because they were just not funny. The meme wasn't even his, it was a re-tweet of something he found funny.
I didn't like many of Obama's jokes, though he mainly used sports jokes, and while he did like to dig the knife in sometimes. Not all of them were bad either.

Hillary is not his predecessor, though she held a seat in the house, she was still not the president. She is the wife of a former president, and at most one can argue she is Melania's predecessor.

Lastly it is preposterous to say that someone cannot be something, even if that aspect is "demeaning" as you say. Though the problem with his jokes still being subjective, and the populace loving to take his words out of context has to constantly be bartered with daily. One could argue that Obama was demeaning to his opponents in 2008, or with how much he ragged on the red sox's with his own brand of jokes. Hillary was extremely demeaning to all of the supporters who didn't have her back, and to a larger extent so was a vast majority of her party.

The fact that your saying Trump can't be like this simply because he is president is a highly ludicrous claim. He is a flesh & blood person (partially citrus) like the rest of us. Holding him to an imaginary standard that has been trampled on by other presidents before, should have gone out the window the moment a reality TV character received the position.

There is no imaginary standard here. All people need to tailor their communications to their audience. Even though all jokes are subjective it really doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that something like what the President re-tweeted is going to be offensive to a lot of people as well as be seen by his peers - other heads of government - across the globe. And by offending a large swath of the citizenry he's suppose to lead as well as the people he has to work with (do you really think Angela Merkel found that funny?) he's impacting his ability to do his job. It may get chuckles from his base but it overall, when taken with all the other un-presidential **** he does, hurts his ability to do his job.

As far as other Presidents are concerned the point is that he is not acting like other Presidents. Other Presidents crack jokes and make fun of themselves but none that I can remember do it at the expense of others. And yes you're right Clinton was not his predecessor but his opponent in the election. It's a distinction without a difference - the point still stands. If you prefer name one President who demeaned his opponent an election after the election was over.

sounds fake to me.... this is how politicians get respect for nothing. They know how to tune your flute.

Politicians are liars, they have no actual class. They'll be whoever you want them to be. It's nice for someone to be real for a change.

What I like about Trump, is he is so obvious. He can't help himself to be himself. I'd rather that than a wolf in sheeps clothing.
Great, He’s the sort of guy that’ll show up to a fish and goose soirée dressed like Rodney Dangerfield, you’re smitten with that. But he’s still picking your pocket or using you for whatever his needs are. The guy wouldn’t piss on you if you were on fire.

One thing I learned a very long time ago is that when people have nothing but a hole in their pocket... or in your case your argument .... they stick their hands deep in there and pretend they are fiddling with some coins to indicate their wealth. Sadly, they are just playing with themselves and they have nothing. So enjoy your diversion - I am sure it is a handful.

Were you just talking about yourself there? Because that sure as heck seems like it. Funny how you just avoided all my questions. I guess you couldn't give a proper response. ;)

Your reading comprehension skills are sorely lacking - however they match your debate skills.

Thought you were. Good to see questioning your sources is the easiest way to shut you down. ;)

They didn't need to vote for her in the election though did they? They didn't have to vote for Trump either.

So I need to explain that It appears.

I have no idea how you think you are pretending to reply to but that post makes absolutely no sense as any sort of sane and rational reply to what I posted.

Whatever blows your dress up. Like I said...questioned your sources and you threw a hissy fit.

Look to your own dress. And the hissy fit is all you own. I gave you other sources and you ignored that information pretending to instead try and derail the discussion by demanding information not available or known that changes nothing.

I remember I just tend to disregard the Monica episodes. It should of never been an issue in the first place. I'm not sure why the Republicans thought they were voted in to play the morality police. They were the last persons to cast stones, their leadership were a bunch of crooks, serial philanderers etc.

You're not wrong there but one big difference is Republicans generally get booted to the curb when they get caught out in their hypocrisy.

Its funny for how much people hate this man, its strange to see that they are someone caring about his image as a president. Though that could also be seen as an extensions of themselves being represented in the global American scope. So in that case I can at least understand what they are worried about.

Though trying to censor someone, even if that person be the president or not. Is in my opinion a horrible way to go about things, or in the least more childish then he is even seeming to now.

People like myself that enjoy what is being done here is only one of the reasons I am even giving this meme re-tweet stupidity the time of day. The moment all of you take such an outspoken response to this action of his only validates more of the things being said about the left or anti Trump posters in general. I for one couldn't give less of a **** about Angela Merkel.
Seeing as the woman has spent the last few years trying to destroy her own country, I think she should have more trouble on her hands worrying about this upcoming election. Then just diverting her time to something other then her populace being overrun with crime, among many of the other horrors she's invited in.

Lets get this straight.
Its a tweet, a joke, a meme.. something that a socially immature old man found funny, and posted on his own social media page. The moment everyone gave it this reaction, it added more validity to it then even if he had created it himself.
The fact that people like you, the media, and all the other little anti-Trumpers on Dp are losing their collective heads over it only proves one thing.

"That none of you can take a joke"

He's he president, yes.
But the moment you start making up rules that only he has to follow just because of his job, and that you can just willfully ignore. Only shows how desperate people are becoming to prove that this is some sort of travesty.
I feel more sorry for the poor guy who made that meme, after what happened with the CNN v Trump meme, I wouldn't be surprised to find out that he was in hiding for fear of his life.

Just look at the image, laugh (or not). Then move the hell on.
There are literally millions of other things in this world that deserve more attention then this, and the fact that people (including myself) have to waste our time on this topic is costing everyone valuable grey matter.

"Also"
Just so long as Hillary keeps denying why she lost the election, and claiming that racism, misogyny etc won the election. Or as she recently just referred to herself as Paula Revere.. or all of that other inane crap she spouts.

"She deserves every last ounce of the **** she is getting"

I have the same question for those sources. If you can't tell me how they came to the number of college degrees...why would you be using that as a source? I mean...I know you think this is just a "debate," but it is more than that. This is about a fundamental understanding of science and the scientific method here. If you couldn't explain these numbers in a science fair...you wouldn't place...let alone get a second interview from a judge. This is a basic question.

And yes. I know you didn't do the research, but if you are going to present this as an expert source...it stands to reason you should have more information about it than just the conclusion.

Because they are established and have credibility and have earned my trust for their work in the past which is respected.

You're completely missing the point.

It's not about whether I can take a joke. It's about how those jokes affect the President's ability to do his job. Whether I or you or anyone else find it funny is beside the point. A large number of Americans would find it offensive and that affects his ability to do his job. A large number of world leaders would see it and it would affect his relationship to work with them. Think what you want about Merkel - and she was only an example - but she is the leader of a close ally and if she finds it hard to work with Trump that affects our relationship with Germany. Ditto Theresa May in England.

Funny isn't the point. The fact that you think it's funny and people should lay off isn't the point. The point is that he hurts his credibility by doing childish **** like this. I didn't vote him (or Clinton for that matter), I don't like him. I lived him NYC when he was building his real estate business. He was in the news a lot and I thought he was an asshole. I still think he's an asshole. But he's President of my country and I'd rather not see him screw the pooch.

I'm not holding him to any kind of impossible standard. Where do you get that idea? I manage a team of 12 people, some black, some white, some Indian, some Muslim, over half women. We all follow each other on facebook and twitter and instagram and all that stuff. Do you think for one second I would dream of posting something that one of my people would find offensive? How could I credibly lead my team and make my female employees understand that I care about advancing their careers if I posted the same meme that Trump did? Simple. I can't. If I can figure that out the President should be able to figure that out.

Re-tweeting such a meme does not mean that you take advancing their careers any less seriously, it simply means you thought the image was worth a chuckle in the very least. That is why we know that comedy is highly subjective, though if you worked so closely with these people, they should already know your taste in comedy. Not to mention if you posted something that was usual to your taste, it wouldn't really bother them at all. Since they know its just a part of your character on that social media platform.

This is still a stupid reason to have a debate non the less, and I am not saying you can't take a joke. But the rest of the media & the world are blowing all of this way out of proportion. There is no reason a meme, or joke said on twitter of all places, should get this kind of press.

There is really, truly something sick about this guy. And you Americans want to keep him as presidente? That now tells me there is something also truly sick about Americans.

You wouldn't have lasted very long in the "3 Stooges" era if this sort of thing bothers you.
